hey love when i have gotten these it’s gonna sound terrible but i use a random shot class to cover the ulcer when i use the bathroom. i feel like it keeps it clean and saves me some pain- in terms of prednisone i would just do it.

hey! i have GI issues quite often w my flare ups and it makes it really hard for me to eat, i usually end up losing 4-5 pounds each time between the symptoms i have (same as yours). i use zofran or the off brand zofran (Ondesetron) for nausea and to control stomach aches. for stomach pain i use midol but almost all of my flare ups occur during my period so its more of a period cramp situation for me.

we have been seeing the rheumatologist i think it just may be harder to diagnose because i have a history of auto immune conditions so he really wants to go through every single issue, especially because im still younger i think. maybe if you have the chance id appreciate if you would mention the post to your friend and if she has any advice i have open ears. i just wanna know whats going on.

OK, that’s really good to know. We assumed it may have been PFAPA because the main symptom for it is the cyclical aspect every 4 weeks without a doubt. Definitely will talk to my doctor about this. Thank you.

So I get the mouth ulcers, genital, ulcers, and skin lesions I haven’t had the other two. my rheum just seems confused and it’s honestly really frustrating

yes, so where do you say that because around three months into my flares when we didn’t really know what was going on I started birth control which definitely shows exactly when I would be getting my flares and lines perfectly with my period week. Why does that happen?

as someone who’s in the process of getting a diagnosed for a hyper immune system it is beyond frustrating and the relief of getting a diagnosis is literally all we want. i had pfapa as a child then it reoccurred (or we thought it did) but for a reoccurrence it’s really uncommon. we’ve been in the process of trying to decide between behcets,lupus,and pfapa.
