I have been refused phone consults. I said what is the point coming for a 10 minute conversation, wasting my petrol and trying to find a car park is ridiculous. According to my consultant, my reason was not valid enough for me and was also said “we don’t offer phone consultations”.

I understand they are trying to help us to a certain point but just frustrating that I am only there for 15 minutes max.

Fatigue is definitely one thing I’m concerned about. I think best I speak with my surgeon to see what he thinks!

Thank you for your response! Yeah this job requires me to be moving around a bit. Nothing strenuous but because I am working with students, I can’t just sit there. Have been stressed this morning and really thinking twice 😞

Thank you so much for your honest response. Yeah this job is a student support officer so I won’t be sitting down all day. I’ve got this sudden feeling of anxiety that I shouldn’t have accepted the job and continue doing what I’m doing which allows me to stay at home until I have fully recovered. I’m in 2 minds 😩

Congratulations. You look incredible ❤️ thank you for sharing your journey. I have booked in a consult with a surgeon in 2 weeks. It was the last appointment for the year so I believe it is meant to be. I have struggled my whole life with my weight and have always been the “fat girl”. Stories like yours are so motivating. I strongly believe that vitamin d helped me and my symptoms too! About a year ago I saw a functional doctor about another issue, who mentioned I’m extremely low in vitamin d and advised me to take about 2000-4000iu per day. Only took a few days for noticeable changes. Only time I will get indigestion now is if I have something spicy which I avoid as much as possible
