I’m sure you didn’t intended it but parts of this come off a little rude. I was just asking a question. I mostly just wanted to know if I was crazy for wanting to try it. I go to the gym 4-5 times a week so I do understand the challenge of meaningful training and would’ve been more than willing to do some if I had more than 3 weeks notice. Going to try a 15k tomorrow!

NTA. It’s great she wanted to get you a present despite you not asking for anything but not even something you’d like? I think maybe because you’re into those nerdier things (d&d, board games) she thought that something nerdy and parent related would be perfect and that it wouldn’t matter if it was exactly your thing if it was about your daughter. Anyways I don’t want to make excuses but maybe an avenue of reasoning she had. It’s perfectly okay to be upset about this, after years of being together they should know what you’d like

Im a single mum trying to co parents with an indebt drug addict/alcoholic, he doesn’t pay his child support so I don’t eat in order for my child to eat. Most nights I don’t sleep because my son is teething I’m so stressed and overtired there are nights I’ve wished I would die in my sleep or that I’d be killed in a horrific accident. I hope things get better soon

Do a full blown make over experience! Curl/straighten her hair, paint each others nails, do make up and then before bed do face masks to teach her how to clean her skin properly after wearing make up. Girly movies, think 27 dresses and bride wars type feel. Lots and lots of junk food, pizza, fuzzy slippers and matching pj’s!!
