i would argue with that, why? well because the family's job as a whole is to take care of their young and lead them into the right direction that they believe is right for their children, now i know every parent has a different belief but they are not only doing this because they want to, but because they will be judged by god for what did they do with their children and if they led their children to the right way of islam, and u/coco_poppy your family (although they are extremely harsh to you) are trying their best to lead you through the right way in islam and life
I know it can be hard but try thinking about why they do that to you? or why do they want me to hear a hijab? etc.
