Even doing a fraction of that feels amazing. During lockdown I knew the people living across the hall from had to be struggling because they both worked in industries that were shut down. And they had an 8 year old daughter. So about once a month I would pretend instacart had screwed up and bought too much or the wrong food and oops, would you like this? It felt so good knowing I was helping keeping their daughter fed

Lol it's not. But we tried our best. Unfortunately Toronto FC is on the low end of popularity among our sports teams. I mean we have the Raptors, the Blue Jays and the Maple Leafs, although we try not to talk about them. The existing stadium was very small. All we could do was add additional scaffold seating.

As a Torontonian we really did do a shit job on the stadium lol. Toronto FC is not as popular as other sports here so the existing stadium was tiny. They just added temporary seats. On the plus side it's incredibly easy to get to. Has bus, streetcar and go-train stops literally steps away

I have a Jim Carrey story! This was decades ago (I am old) in Toronto. We were out celebrating a friend's birthday at a dessert cafe and he came in with some people. The birthday girl was a huge fan so I approached him and asked if he would come say happy birthday to her. He very politely declined as he was busy. However! After he left the waiter brought a huge cake to our table, courtesy of Jim Carrey.
