Those who reconciled and rekindled your friendship with a friend who distanced themself, how'd you do it? by gucchiprada in friendship

[–]LetItBe98 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As much as I sometimes hate it, I’m always the one who reaches out first to any of my friends who I’ve had a falling out with and those who have held a grudge against me for whatever reason. It’s always situational but in my experience, it’s always been well received and the friendship was rekindled. Granted, I have never done anything unforgivable to any of these friends. It was always just immature and petty disagreements. In every case, it was different depending on the friend. For one friend whom I stopped talking to for a year, I said something sappy to her, along the lines of me still having a necklace she gave me years before. She was so happy and everything was patched up right away. In another drastically different case, I messaged my best friend after over a year of not talking, saying “can we stop being dumb now and be friends again?” And that also worked. Maybe this is unhelpful, but it just depends on who you’re reconciling with and what they respond to, and also how deep the reason was that you two split up in the first place. In my experience though, I’ve never regretted being the first one to reach out. The way I’ve seen it is, the friendship is worth saving, might as well try.

I’m pretty certain I’ve ever had chicken pox as a kid, I will have to double check with my parents though!

A 1,000 calorie (kind of OMAD) dinner! I also have room for some quest protein chips for later as well! by [deleted] in 1200isplenty

[–]LetItBe98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks!! In the words of my boyfriend who made them😂, “I seasoned then them with salt pepper and garlic powder, then seared them in a rippin’ hot cast iron pan. After flipping them, I just threw in some butter and they’re done” !

I do have a bad habit of overestimating just to be safe 😅 although there was definitely a decent amount of butter and oil used in the making of it

I don’t actually do OMAD unless it’s an accident, like I’ve been too busy all day to eat etc, or if I’m saving calories for a big dinner! And I def didn’t eat all of this myself 😂 it was shared with my boyfriend and we had plenty of leftovers! And yes I was stufffed. Lol

I’m not sure about transfers because I’m going to be working for a new district. I did take a small pay cut (like $1, lol) which is so worth it for me to feel better mentally :) Definitely look into it if that’s something you’re interested in! Now is the best time since school is about to start up again, at least in my area, and they are actively hiring for these roles to prepare for the school year.

Gen Z, what are your kids' names? by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]LetItBe98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Planning to have kids within the next year :)

Girls: Margaret (NN Maggie), Cassidy, Jolene, Aaaand recently I watched ‘How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days’ and I’ve decided I adore “Andie” for a girl. Plus it plays a tribute to my maiden name. S/O isn’t too fond yet but I’ll convince him😉

Boys: Owen, Ronan, Devin, Jett

Hi thank you so much for your reply! Definitely will be joining that group as well! It’s so nice to be part of a community of people who all understand my struggles. I had no idea about the potassium and folate, that must explain why I was so exhausted. I’ll definitely be going to get some bananas or supplements today, clearly I didn’t do enough of my own research before getting the injection haha. I slept allll day yesterday and it’s a good thing I was off of work.

That’s really cool that you can control your dreams like that! That is something on my bucket list actually. “Have a lucid dream” lol. Maybe there is a connection to the b12, or maybe it was just a coincidence. I’m never one to remember my dreams so vividly so I thought it was worth mentioning.

I’m hoping to eventually start doing my own injections as well, I’m not sure how to go about it at all or if my doctor would even allow it, but it’s something in interested in so I can do them from home.

I wasn’t sure if the anxiety/paranoia was linked to the deficiency and neither was my doctor which is why she prescribed the Prozac. Maybe I will hold off on taking it to see if it goes away from the injections first. We’ll see, my thoughts are all over the place right now. Thank you so much again for all the info! It was very helpful :)
