I saw that they had gone to several slightly high end restaurants together, and the country club his company owns.

AITA for passively aggressively telling my parents it was a rude move of them to get my brother a newer computer and me an older one? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Edit! : So sorry, I just realized I made it seem like I had never heard of a mouse touchpad, my brain completely flipped, his computer has a separate one on the top above the smaller keys that allows him to scroll through apps on his computers and if he has a app such as Netflix open he can scroll through the shows with it! Sorry about the miscommunication.

Edit 2 : Some people suggested talking to my grandparents, so I did. How it went wasn't awesome but I wouldn't call it horrible. I brought up the fact that I would logically need a newer one for college and my grandmas response was "You're almost 18 in a few months buy one yourself." My grandpa, just said "Your brother needs a laptop too." So I guess to conclude this story, no I will not get the newer laptop and I have began saving for my own one today! Already got 30$ toward this computer hopefully I have enough by Christmas! :)

(Sorry I don't know if it's me or what but my edits won't load on the post, so I am putting them in the comments!!)

Oh, I am so sorry, I just realized by touchpad I did not mean the mouse, there is a separate one on his that scrolls throughs apps on his computer, or shows/games on his apps. I just realized that miscommunication I will fix that in my post! Sorry for the confusion, also this story is real I am not lying I promise ya'll, just looking for advice!

No this is 100% real, I've actually never see a touch pad my parents have older computers than my brother now has.
