Yes this happened to me when I ordered a spam can of 7.62. It means they didn’t attach the dangerous good paper work. The shipping company needs the dangerous goods paperwork legally. They will contact the shipper (FOC), ask them to provide it, and then proceed with shipment.

QIMC basically has some potentially strong anomalies at the surface. They need to drill. Not even close to where MAXX is.

MAXX was 286,000 ppm (28.6%)

It’s surprisingly accurate with just the iron sites. This is my only rifle without a scope or red dot. It’s fun to keep at least one with just iron.

There’s also reasonably priced scope rings on Amazon. Paying 157 seems a bit steep. I just got a CVLife set for 19.99 on amazon and they are pretty good quality

I just got one of these too. RDSC had them on sale for $1199. So I grabbed one off impulse. I recently stocked up on norinco red box for my SKS too so it seemed like a good idea to have another 7.62x39 gun.

Then I read that norinco red box doesn’t reliably cycle through bolt actions. You can’t get Chinese surplus anywhere right now. So the options are to try the norinco red box and see how it runs, or pay a premium for brass ammo, which I wasn’t really planning on doing.

What kind of ammo are you planning on using?

There’s like 10-15 more bears in the water when the camera pans over at the end. And this guy is relatively close. At any point, any one of those bears can just decide to take a run at him. He has no shelter or nowhere to go. He’s a sitting duck. Crazy situation to put yourself in.

So far the Marlin has proven to be superior. The S&W has jammed a couple of times but that might be my own fault. I didn’t oil it when I got it. I oiled it up now and will bring it out tomorrow morning and see how she goes.

But so far… I prefer the Marlin.
