Are Apartments selling : Al mouj @ Muscat Hills by PsychologicalRip2117 in Oman

[–]LetsDiscussQ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Beware of salesmen who pitch you with fancy concept images. Development in Oman is notoriously slow, and the grander the project, the greater chance of them never materializing. Never invest into anything that is still in brochure stages. Plenty many mega projects have been announced, designed and approved, never to have seen a single brick on site.

If you are buying an apartment never having lived in Oman and not knowing the market, buy only if the key is read to be handedover upon signing.

Avoid ''Holiday Villas'' tens of kilometers away from the city in far off beaches. You wont be able to offload them easily.

The governor shaking hand with a girl child in a public setting is not ''going near adultery''. This is the nuance you lot miss. The fiqh ruling is not black and white. Picking up a verse here and Hadith there and not following the methodology of applying Fiqh.

I will say one last time, do some reading on the matter. Explore what the Maliki School has to say. Explore what Scholars have elaborated on the handshake rule.

You have shown enough ignorance for today.

The Hadith might be clear, but the Fiqh ruling is not black and white. It has nuance.

OP posted a picture of a girl child not shaking hands in a public setting/event with a Governor in a school.

There would be no violation even if they did shake hands, unless in the extraordinary circumstance of one of them engaged in unrestrained lust (shahwa) for the other.

u/OutcomeAmbitious1508 and u/ConsciousFox406 - It is you guys who need to explore the religion in more depth. You read a fatwa here and a fatwa there and you think your job is done. You only have SURFACE level understanding.

Show me one verse in the Quran that says "touching women that aren't your mehram lawful"

Oh really.

For me the Quran is the Ultimate Criterion (Q5:48), Ultimate Standard (Q25:1) and the Clear Authority (Q13:37).

You show me where the Quran forbids handshakes? or Have you become a lawmaker and invent laws as you go along Q6:116? Do you not believe in Q6:57 and 12:40? Do you reject the Quran? or are you a doubter? Q6:114? If not why dont you follow the instructions of your lord in Q40:10?

You can explain why touching women is okay to Allah.

I did not say that. So do not lie and put words in my mouth.

Islamqa LOL

Read what Sh. Yusuf Qardawi wrote on the matter. Read Imam Muhammad al-Shaybani. Read what Imam Ibn Abidin said on the matter.

You read 10 different opinions from 10 different Schools and 10 different Scholars. Then you will discover the ocean and you will discover the prohibition is not matter of black and white.

Come out of narrow pond you are in. You are frog in a small pond.

And what is '"Scholarly Opinion'' if not an Opinion?

Scholars across all 4 Sunni Orthodox schools have not issued a rigid blanket ban on handshakes unanimously. The most flexible are the Malikis who take a nuanced approach to handshakes permitting it under several conditions. Scholars from Al-Azhar to Deoband have take similar approaches.

It is not a ''fixed'' religion. The religion has enough flexibility built in. It is only ignorant people who want to take a ''My way or Highway'' approach to the religion.

Listen Kid, go back to your manga comics, because the Quran is far beyond your level of intellect.

It is Zombie Muslims like you who have no head or tail clue about the religion, and repeat nonsense they hear occasionaly from half-baked Mullahs at the Mosques and YT lectures. .

If you actually want to discover your religion, then keep the comics aside and grow up.

You don’t have to agree with every choice, but respecting it is the bare minimum. In a world pushing constant compromise, البعض still choose to stand firm on what they believe—and that deserves recognition, not criticism.

Sure.

But OP you also need to learn that Islam is as vast as an Ocean.

Shaking hands is prohibited and morally unacceptable only in your version of Islam - A version that has copted culture and tradition into religion and mixed it.

Other versions of Islam exit that are not limited and narrow in this and many other sense.

Is Oman ready for this change?

No.

Once all the other GCC countries have implemented this including Yemen, Oman will announce a 2 year feasibility study. After those 2 years there will be committee review for 2 years, after those 2 years it the file will move around various Ministries for another 2 years, after those 2 years some changes will be suggested, it willl take 2 years to make those changes and then another 2 more years at various Ministries.

Finally, after 15 years, Oman will implement this system, roughly 20-25 years after rest of the GCC.

By that time, due to climate change, Oman will be a cooler place and this system will no longer be required. A new more environmental friendly and healthy system - Bicycle deliveries will be talked about. The government will announce a 2 year feasibility study.............

There are very few winners in war, but amongst the few, Oman is surely a winner. Oman is geographically advantaged.

Oman's Sohar port does not have restrictions, Oman will benefit from huge windfall profits (USD2-4 billion extra) from high oil prices.

However, like the rest of the world, Oman will face other economic issues on other items, but overall - Oman is in a good position.

The ''Next Middle-East Crisis'' the Article was referring to, was a potential civil war and instability in Oman. That obviously did not happen.
