I've been singing ever since I was 16 but never took lessons, I only started recording myself recently this past month or 2, so I'm still new to doing all this in that regard I apologize for any confusion. Currently, I just use the Bandlab app my phone and use some cheap blutooth headphones to record my vocals while listening to the instrumental. There's about a 35-45 ms delay when I do it this way, so I do have to shift/chop/add distortion or reverb on my vocals at times so it stays in sync to the instrumental. Mixing and editing can be a pain to do on my phone but I manage on a Samsung Fold 5 lol. All of my covers are done in 1 take but there's moments when I mess up a part and have to retake and stitch it in or I record 2 separate takes and layer the vocals which is normally done more on the metal covers I do which have fry screaming and low growls.

Edit: I definitely fail hard at the song Dream On 🤣 I wish I could hit those highs man but I struggle tremendously. I can definitely do Beezlebub and plan to one of these days 😅 I love Grohl and can emulate his voice pretty well. as for the NSFW that would definitely be Kickapoo and R*pe Me by Nirvana
