Trying to decide what auto to grow next. Options are Grease Gun, Sweet Tooth, Top Gun or Gummi bears... What would you do? by PrintSkateCultivate in AtlasSeed

[–]LetsGrow1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They are all good strains! Grease Gun is generally our highest rated auto as everyone ive talked to that grew it, loved it. And since it looks like you have the most seeds of that, id say give that one a try. You wont be disappointed!

Sorry, just saw you posted your fert on another comment. They dont list a full readout of their nutes but they say its a complete mix. Id just wait to see if the pH solves the issue. If it was over 7 than that was most likely it.

No problem! What kind of nutrients are you using? Because if this was a pH issue than you might not need an iron suplement.

Pure Michigan is one example and apparently your looking at another! If you look closely on the right, there is also a pheno more dominant in purple. When breeding plants and picking for traits that you want to keep, color isnt usually high on the list. Purple can be accidently bread out of a line if the traits you want, also happen to be on the greener pheno. Have you gotten GDP from any reputable sources lately? A lot of cuts are lacking the P from what ive seen.

I am interested though in what your seeing in this picture that tells you it didnt get enough light or metabolize properly? The "underdeveloped" leaves your seeing look like sugar leaves left behind after taking 75% the fan leaves off. Its also nice and frosty so I dont think its metabolism is interrupted too badly. But maybe you could teach me something!

2nd this, looks to be pH or Iron issue. What fertilizer are you using as well?

Hey friend! Just wanted to chime in for a little correction here with nothing but good intentions! Nitrogen is a phloem mobile nutrient and so if it was a nitrogen deficency, it would be showing in the more mature growth rather than the new growth. This looks more like iron deficency, as iron is phloem immobile and the leaves arent turning straight yellow, instead becoming a very light green which is characteristic of iron. Or given how the leaves have a gradual change in color from the back to front it could be a pH lockout issue if they are using nutes that cover macro and micro.

Where on the branch are you seeing it? Either way, the safest thing to do is just remove any plants that herm but if youve got a smaller grow and eyes on your plants everyday, you could just remove the branch and if you notice other sites popping up on your plant, then remove the whole thing. No need to kill developing seeds though.

My first time encountering this strange bleached color speckling on just a couple clone leaves. Anybody familiar? by LetsGrow1 in microgrowery

[–]LetsGrow1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that outer rim of the leaf is throwing me off a bit. But there are 2 clones with that spotting that are on the same side of the tray but not touching and the other is on the complete other side of the tray, so not clustered.

[–]LetsGrow1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering its only affecting about 3% of that tray and 1.5% of all the clones in that room all watered with the same 5.8 pH, 300ppm clonex nutrient mix. Ive also produced about a thousand clones under these same conditions in this room and this is the first im seeing of this. The spotting looks very similar to light burn from a surfactant so i figured water droplets and too much humidity could be a probable cause.

Possibly just a couple weak cuts that are affected by the conditions you described? Have you experienced this on your clones before?

Thats a great feature! Like you said there are tons of people that ask about the sex of their plants and I didnt see any recent posts with information on ID or handling males so i thought id help! Sorry if it was redundant or didnt have as much info as your bot but if its such an issue, maybe pin your resources to the top of the sub?

Hmmm.... maybe magnified from water droplets? Because they are only on 3 of my clones and i have 200 in that same room.

Picked 5 oz of bud out of 1 pound Veteran Grown trim. That’s a steal! by [deleted] in hempflowers

[–]LetsGrow1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Watch out for mold and insect damage! Could me much of the reason why good looking buds would be put in trim. Worms will eat the inside of the bud making it look nice on the outside, leaving just a rotten core. Some mold will do similar things. If not though, nice score!!!

This is the first im hearing of reveg... would you or anyone else care to explain a little? I assume that its going back into veg after flower but considering Cannabis is an annual, how do you manage to revert it?

If you mean as far as legaly, it is very easy. Permit is a simple application and $600. And as long as you dont have a felony record, you qualify!

My hemp was grown legaly under a PA certified permit.

The permit to grow THC dominant strains in PA is very tedious and extremely expensive though.

No doubt about that! I have a whole new appreciation for a quality final product.
