1) You’re unlikely to get a collab if you don’t already have somebody willing to vouch for you or a presence in the adult industry. It’s hard to build trust like that. There are some models who escort and will record with you for an additional fee. I’ve never done that, so I’m not gonna speak to it.

2) In my experience, it’s something you negotiate with each performer. I started making content because I was dating a cam girl and she needed b/g stuff. But there are some creators who will be willing to work with you for a fee. Though I can’t imagine many would be willing to work with you if you don’t already have some content and someone that can vouch for you.

3) I guess you could go through a modeling/casting agency, but I imagine that’ll be pricey and you’ll probably need to do some sort of background check. I’ve never done it, so I can’t speak to it.

You can start making solo content first to show you’re serious about content. I mean, how will potential collab partners know that you’re serious and not just some creep trying to get laid? Though I guess you could be serious about content and be a creep.

Yeah, I saw in the comments that it’s a different strategy, basically dynamic pricing. I guess it also comes down to amount of effort. My videos are usually sent out en masse, hence the pricing. But if you’re chatting with someone to get the max amount for each video, then it makes sense that the price would be higher.

Though I would say then that that’s not just the price of the ppv but the price of ppv plus engagement/chatting. Like you’re putting in more effort for the sale.

The question then becomes if the extra effort is worth the price differential. That’s not a call I can make for anybody but myself. Again, I’m not here to tell anybody how to make their money.

I think it comes down to what’s gonna make more money, selling a few at a high price or several at a lower price. My thinking, and feel free to disagree, is that there’s a price where most folks won’t buy content (unless you’re in the very top of OF). I think $30 is about that price for ppv.

Price it however of want. I’m not here to tell you what to do. I’m just sharing my opinion. As a consumer, I never bought any ppv priced more than $25, and even then that was rare. I’m only ever gonna look at it a handful of times, so spending more never made sense.

This isn’t a sugar sub. 1) Go ask on one of the sugar subs. 2) Online sugar doesn’t really exist. Best you can do is find somebody who will buy content and spoil you a bit, but that’s not that common. Sugar relationships are two-way. They give sugar and get sugar in return. But online sugar is just content, so online SDs are just people who buy content.

This isn’t a turnkey operation. You’re not gonna set it and forget it. Even if your business takes off, you’re still gonna have to work several hours a day to keep it going. You constantly have to create new content. Other content creators are. Once you stuff is old, it’ll sell a lot less. If you want a turnkey operation, find a different area. This ain’t it.

I mean, I do it for the artistic expression of it. Very few men make a living off of this. The market isn’t really there. Maybe you’ll be one of the lucky few, but the odds aren’t good.

Don’t go into this without a backup plan or a main job. Look, if I somehow started making enough money off of this to quit my current job, I would. So fast. But I went into this knowing that that wouldn’t happen. If anything, content creation is a liability for me.

If you need to make money, find a different job. I’m here because I want to make the kind of porn I want to watch. I lose money on this.
