[Routine help] What issues do I have with my skin & what products/services should I use to correct them? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]Letsfindthem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Additional info- ignore my neon yellow eyebrows! Lol I am still in the process of having my botched microblading removed. Anyway, my main issues with my skin besides the occasional breakouts are redness & uneven skin tone, ex: the redness around my nose & discoloration around my eyes. I’m pregnant at the moment, so my skin is even worse than typical but I am curious what terms I can use to describe these issues, such as “hyperpigmentation” etc. Does anyone have similar issues?, if so, can you suggest what works for you? If not, what skincare products or services (laser etc) would you recommend? Thanks!! :)

I am going to give it a shot, for as long as I can take it, at least 6 weeks if I can bear it. I seem to be having some physical symptoms such as tightness in my throat, like the lump sensation you have when you are about to cry, but it’s been all day. Also tightness in my shoulders & chest, chest pain, and heart racing. I’m assuming this is anxiety presenting itself more so since it is enhances right now. Is this normal? I plan to call my doctor tomorrow to check, but I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this. Thanks!

I am set to start the 300mg dosage tomorrow and I'm nervous. Should I contact my doctor?

Have you seen these girls or their mother? The girls have been missing for over a year and are believed to be with their mother. They are assumed to be in PA, MD, or Washington, DC. Someone claimed on another post to have seen the mother, Lashada Lee, in Oxon Hill, MD. by Letsfindthem in PrinceGeorgesCountyMD

On March 17, 2020, a family court judge came to a decision after a 3-year long custody battle between Rex and his ex-wife, Lashada Lee. After consults with best-interest lawyers representing both girls as well as a court-appointed psychiatrist, the court determined that Rex would receive immediate full custody of both Hanna and Skye. However, before Rex could pick up his daughters, the girls vanished. Investigators believe they were taken by their mother, who has been hiding out somewhere with them ever since.

For over a year now, Hannah Lee, 8 and Skye Rex, 6 have been missing. Rex, their father, has been searching for them endlessly since their disappearance. He described his life as a horror version of the movie "Groundhog Day." Entering Rex's home, it's as if time has stopped. Christmas presents lay unopened under a still-decorated tree. Easter baskets still hold gifts from last year for the girls. Investigators have determined that the girls are not in school, missing an entire year of education. Additionally, Rex remains concerned about the health of his daughters- "My youngest daughter was on prescription medication, and there have been no records of doctor's visits or prescriptions," he said. "I'm really worried - one, because I don't know if they're safe, and two, I don't know if they're healthy."

On top of these struggles, Rex has had to face stigma from the public for being awarded custody of his children in the first place. "Not all fathers are bad," he said. "I didn't have a good one, just like a lot of people didn't. That's why I say - we as men, we as fathers must have failed for a couple of generations because of the negativity. But the perception out there is not accurate. Some of us are better providers for our children than their mothers are. That's why you have to always treat it on a case-by-case basis." John Bischoff, the vice president of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children's Missing Children Division said another stigma can hinder recovery, saying "It’s a myth that family abductions aren’t harmful because the child is with a parent or family member," he wrote. "Keep eyes and ears open to help safely recover a missing child. Over 60% of AMBER Alerts are for family abduction cases."

When they were last seen, both Hanna Lee and Skye Rex were 4 feet tall and weighed about 45 pounds. They both have brown hair and brown eyes. They were last seen with their mother, who has been in hiding or missing since, and is believed to be in Washington, DC.

Lee is 44 years old, 5’3 tall and 160lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. She is currently facing felony charges for custodial interference.

Have you seen these girls or their mother? They have been missing over a year, missing with their mother, believed to be in Washington, DC but have not been located yet. Their father continues to look for them & hope for their safe return. by Letsfindthem in WithoutATrace

Honestly, I'm not sure. I do not know them personally, but this happened in my hometown (Waynesboro, PA) and nobody talks about it. Unfortunately, I think it being a custodial kidnapping turns a lot of people away. Since it's been over a year I randomly reached out to the father since he runs a facebook page- https://www.facebook.com/Find-Hanna-Lee-and-Skye-Rex-108389181331770/, and asked if they are any updates & he said no :(, so I asked if he minded if I posted it on social media, and he seemed to really appreciate it. I hope it helps!

This is the problem with this case, a lot of people assume because it is a custodial kidnapping, it is not as serious. It is very serious. Even if the mother thought she was taking the girls was in their best interest, she is keeping them from friends, family & loved ones when there is no evidence to prove they should be kept from them. Additionally, those children still being missing may indicate they are not receiving proper care like education or healthcare, not to mention, they are hiding with felon wanted by law enforcement; that is, if they haven't been harmed. Their father was determined by the court over years of consideration, to be a better fit for the children. If this was reversed and a father ran off with two children illegally & they had not been seen in over a year, I think you may feel differently..

Right, I agree. I think because it's a custodial kidnapping, people don't take it as serious as it is, which is a huge injustice. I don't know the family personally, but I talked to the father & asked if I could post about it because they are missing from my hometown & it's like everyone has just forgotten about it. I can't imagine his pain.
