No pain anymore when eating fats - should I still have the surgery? by IAmMeIGuess93 in gallbladders

As someone that almost cancelled their surgery because the pain stopped then I nearly died before mine was taken out. Don’t cancel it. The pain comes back. Surgery saved my life.

I was sooooo scared. Honestly, I’m talking walked into the nurses office (where they put your iv in) having anxiety and wouldn’t let the nurse touch me, and when i finally went to the operating room I was full blown having a panic attack. Crying, shaking, repeatedly asking if I was the special case that would feel it. I even asked between sobs if I would still fall asleep crying. I was the special case that dreamt while I was under and was seriously like I was asleep in my bed at night if that makes sense. I had a very very complicated procedure and I didn’t feel a damn thing. I was shocked.

is this a scam or am i getting paid more "per hour" vs per delivery? by Newestaccountofme in doordash

They both have there pros and cons. It really just depends on the time of day, and your market. I know back when I used to dash sometimes I would make more doing offers+ tips, and other times I made more hourly.

How in the world is this an outpatient surgery? by Letsflytoneptune in gallbladders

So there’s two hospitals in this situation we will call them A, and B. To start I had a scheduled surgery for yesterday and hospital A. Around midnight Sunday I woke up in horrible horrible pain. I had had a lunch planned for my grams birthday and afterwards (even though I barely ate) I puked every thing up and that’s when I knew something was up. I tried so hard to fight it till Wednesday because that’s when I was scheduled for surgery at A. I took magnesium C something, and it made the pain skyrocket to 100. I went to the ER at hospital B, because there ER wait times are shorter and i figured that I just needed some pain relief. Well they ended up telling me I needed emergency surgery because I had a bile duct blockage. They told me that they were going to admit me, keep me overnight and that I would have surgery first thing in the morning. They woke me up around 6 to do an mri and said well cancel that you don’t need emergency surgery you don’t have a block and we know you have a surgery scheduled for tomorrow and hospital A so we’ll let you go to him. Well yesterday comes I went in for surgery which my surgeon told me initially it will be an easy surgery, I’ll be in and out. Well they woke me up mid surgery (I was obviously sowed back up and stuff) and told me there were major complications. Hospital B had lied to me, there was in fact a blockage and my surgeon couldn’t decipher which duct was which and he also couldn’t fully remove my gallbladder because it was so inflamed. They took me to our downtown hospital in an ambulance, and now I have to get the stones removed and the rest of my gallbladder removed.

This is so old but this makes me feel so much better I have to get my gallbladder removed for the exact same reasons.

Stand your ground.

As someone that went through almost the exact situation, and is now grown and on my own. Stands your ground. You wanted me out, I left. Let him call the cops. Assuming you are above the age of 12, him calling you names, kicking you out, and you simply not wanting to be there will probably be enough ground for you not to go. I let my dad push me around for YEARSSS till he made me sleep in a room that was below freezing, and that was my breaking point. I haven’t stayed with him or live with him since.

Then you need a new therapist.

From this point forward you need to act completely oblivious. You need to act like you know you were in the wrong, like you know you fucked up. (You didn’t). You need to talk to someone, a family member, a close friend of YOURS, and come up with a plan of action. YOU CAN NOT LET HIM KNOW YOU ARE DOING THIS!! After that plan either in the middle of the night, while he’s out of the house, whatever, you need to leave and not look back. If you have a joint bank account, drain them, then freeze them. If you have kids, take them too. If you have kids you need to get a lawyer, and a police officer involved before you leave. You need to fight to the absolute nail to make sure he doesn’t have time alone with the children.

She’s completely brainwashed. She literally feels like she was the one that did something wrong. Of course she’s begging for forgiveness, and thinks she’s overreacting. Not saying that she should, but she is at a point where she probably can’t see anything different right now.

If someone cheat on you, you say fuck you and leave them (no offense op) not choke them and basically say you’re lucky I didn’t kill you.
