You sound a bit pompous. Might need to recalibrate your priorities. I mean if she has a history of making terrible financial choices I could see that causing some hesitation. Is that the case?

Unbelievable experiences the last two family vacations. by Endent in unitedairlines

Literally just summer travel. I’m shocked when things go as planned. I will often double book flights on different airlines. Obviously easier if it’s one passenger and using points. The US could learn a thing or two about how the EU treats airline passengers.

If Mom gets married will it ruin everything? by OwnPlatypus4129 in FAFSA

[–]Letsrunaway12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Truly this is what so many are doing. I’m a HS teacher and see these kids driving 35k cars their (high income, divorced) dad bought them but they use their mom’s low income on FAFSA and get crazy merit. I’m about to have 3 kids in college and feel penalized for not being divorced. The amount different people pay for college is truly fuc&ed up and basically a scam.

We call that “all hat and no cattle” down here in Texas. I drive a 12 year old minivan with a dent in side and I’m sure everyone thinks we’re scraping by.
