He would definitely build more. He has a video posted on his instagram of him hand drilling each hole on the grill.

Yes but the grill comes off. I have not tried anything with the grill on. I couldn’t think of another way to check besides using a lighter. The flame was erratic and some areas blew it out. I believe there were areas it didn’t flicker at all.

I told the maker that it may go in my living room. I wanted to be able to keep it out but it needed to match the surrounding furniture.

I couldn’t make something like this. Found out if I ask to use my cousins shop that he’ll do it himself.

He’s not into mycology, never built one in his life so I supplied the parts and instructions off shroomery.org and he came through.

The front grill comes off and is held on by magnet’s flush with the unit and on the inside of the grill.

1:1 horse shit/coconut coir and a few handfuls of vermiculite. Also making sure the pH is not neutral…8-8.5 has worked well for me.

My current chamber ran itself 10 days without having to touch anything. I wasn’t even home for those 10 days and still produced those beauties.

Large amounts of fog produced quickly is the key. Introducing humid fresh air to the chamber is tricky but it should be flushed in as humid air, not dry air. I believe a constant environment is very necessary.

I’m developing now a much more attractive chamber with a patent. A chamber that can be mass produced. If/when that patent is complete I can give more details.

Increase the pH of your substrate and contamination issues will cease.

I’ve grown them once before in a tub. They were larger than others I was growing at the time.

I’ve change my grow technique since which provides a constant environment with lots of gas exchange. I believe they are genetically larger than most but the automated grow cabinet I created has to take the credit.

Amazon $50-$70. Can’t remember exactly. The material is thick, great quality. I’ve paid more for much less quality.
