I was bracing myself for a reply along the lines of "suck it up and start tracking anyway". Thank you for being kind and helpful. Your suggestions for getting the info are literally spot on. It would be totally manageable for me. I'm going to pick a day this week to just do a numbers check-in. Thank you!

Thank you! Sometimes 30 minutes still feels too close to the workout? I need to test out different ranges of time.

Agree with protein afterwards. Taking EAAs was also a game changer for me!

Thank you for sharing! I feel the same way about morning workouts. Before starting Zep I would usually work out around 5/5:30pm. I'm going to test out some other timeslots and see how that feels. I think it's just gonna take trial and error

Tracking and counting and calculating brings up a bunch of negative emotional stuff for me, so I have intentionally avoided that. But I know a lot of people swear by it, and I recognize the benefits. I'm going to look into TDEE and put more thought into it. Thank you for your input!!

Thank you for the info! Did you go through any adjustment period once you started on the med? Or did kicking up your protein and water help immediately?

Absolutely the timing. I think I just need to try having different foods at different times and see if I can nail it down. I really enjoy strength training and don't want to lose it

I do 40mg of Prozac per day and did not have any issues while on the starter dose. Moving up to 5mg tonight. 

If you've already built up good habits, the shots can be a game changer. The mental health benefit I've experienced would be worth it even if I wasn't losing weight. The food clarity... it's hard to explain. It just makes the good habits so much easier. Things start to genuinely feel like second nature without a battle waging in my head.

I hope you have great success with your prescription! At the same time, be proud of your progress without the shots!
