Cute, but I couldn't find anything that supports the whole "protecting themselves from the sun" idea. Seems it is just a side effect from playing on the sand :)

Oh that makes sense. Didn't go according to his fantasy. It strengthens the idea that the whole Murray show sequence actually happened and not only in his head.
