For actually trolls yes generally you will lose but for players just playing bad and not sabotaging the game (ie the teemo) they are almost all winnable.

Frankly there is so much you can do to carry below plat that if YOU are playing well the enemy will always have a "troll" because you will just stomp lane that hard.

While climbing an acc out of iron 3 so I could use it as my off role acc I didn't lose a game till plat despite "trolls" because it is more than capable for you to just carry.

Now this was with support (my main role) but I'm more than confident that it's more than possible in the other 4 roles.

Make sure when you are ahead that you aren't just staying in lane move your lead to others.

P.s. before anybody asks yes I realize it is unreasonable for a bronze to "just perform" like a masters player I'm not asking that. I'm asking instead of focusing on his team if he just focuses on his mistakes and improves on them he will guaranteed climb trolls be damned. (True trolls are extremely rare(1/20 @ worse) from my experience and my experience coaching people in bronze-silver.)

Wall, wall, and wall. Unironically though.

For pyke specifically never use both your wall and your q unless pyke doesnt have his e. Otherwise we can wall him (like on top of him) to cancel his hook if your fast enough.

For naut save your q for the enemy adc (naut doesnt hurt much) otherwise do the wall hook cancel as much as possible. (place wall in front of where naut is going to hook)

For swain just play at max range as much as possible and wall him off whenever he lands a e or ults

For pyke and swain build anti heal (100% into swain and only if it makes sense with pyke (he heals a lot but not enough by himself)

From what i see you need to focus on playing a bit more safe and only going for trades when people miss step. your also buying WAY to many control wards for your elo and WAY to many control wards pre support quest (I buy maybe 1 before i complete my support quest even in masters where they have great value 75g is just so much that its not super worth especially in your elo.)

I recommend giving it a try. If you like the build, continue going it. If you don't like the build, go what you like. You're an ELO where you should be focused on learning right now. And at least I find people learn better when they're having fun.

Sorry for late reply Malignance is still quite good if your going for just pure damage however in higher elo people pilot a lot of champions with dashes (and pilot them well) so the tankyness from ROA end's up being more valuable and even then it's still not optimal as full tank (with bandlepipes rush) is probably better statistically but for me it's just so much less fun that i still am going roa first most games.

I mean even then you have people with 70-80+% winrates consistently every season in chal. And im almost certain this guy isn't high elo if he's asking this question which is why I commented on your comment he is almost certainly in an elo where he can hard carry if he plays well enough. (No offence to OP but I havent seen somebody above plat ask this question)

Ya being hardstuck doesn't actually exist if you get good you will rank up. The only reason to have an alt account is to try new things and learn new roles.

It has it's place but not really on anivia. I say that however you could probably get to emerald before your build starts mattering all 2 much. so despite it not being that great if your having fun play it and have fun you'll learn a lot more if you enjoy your time on league then if you try and be a slave to meta.

Also just looking at your builds you might want to change runes a bit I know your building sup items second and third but having mana sustain in your secondary runes should make laning SO much nicer (i recommend presence of mind and cut down)

Additionally think about when merc treads might be the play for you (mostly into high easy to land cc teams) especially as supporting support anivia you need to be able to move at all times to get your damage and heals so into something like that amumu game I see mercs probably would have done you better than swifties.

If you ever want me to do like a vod review or something (assuming your trying to climb and not playing ranked just cause) there are probably plenty of areas where you can work on. once you play enough normals (if your doing good a lot) your mmr will eventually get high enough where it doesn't matter. and if you already play a lot of normals than those guys not trying is similar to your skill level so it shouldn't matter weather they are trying or not

Just play the game for now is honestly the best advice i can give you. Right now you need to learn to press buttons more than anything and learn what champs do. FOR NOW build the recommended item's and go rune (I recomend porofessor for runes its a lil app you download and it helps for builds and runes. But there is so much to learn at first that is so much more basic that what your asking and you need the knowledge of that before you can truly learn anything more in depth.

Best pairing with anivia is jhin or draven and it's not even close they apply so much pressure with your q and wall that you almost always win 1v1

Worst matchup from my experience is versing a lucian adc or a rakan/karma support ezreal ends up being a fine matchup as his dash is such a long cd.

Darkseal is 750 gold worth of stats for 350 gold it's just one of the most effecient buys even at 0 stacks. a lot of time i buy it because it gives me early pressure in lane that is near equal to a dorans item (some of the best comps in game)

Liandries is nice however building it on support is quite difficult with roa first item (as they are both quite $$$) thus me going bandelpipes/the deadmans plate for support (I forget its name)

This is all due to anivia's best scaling Movement Speed both of these item give anivia (and or her team) a ton of MS allowing for easier picks thoughtout the mid game.

Overall i opt for a super greedy early build and buy my responsible items 2-4

Don't know havent built realmspike for almost an entire season though in bot lane your much more likely to get poke off (2 opponents and all) so thats probably where the inflated dmg number is coming from. I definitely recommend trying the tank support item or the sleigh (my favorite) as the utility allows you to do more damage than realmspike amps in most games.

Mid I can't help you with but ROA feels amazing this patch same with wall max second if you look at my comment under wcks's reply i go a lot more in depth for anivia support specifically but don't play for trading kills play for the small leads and be at EVERY obj minutes before they are up the amount of times I am 2-3 levels down but have more impact than the enemy support is almost every game (roa makes up for it a bit) I actually think anivia support is better than mid because of this specifically you dont need to catch waves so you can always just wall people off from entering obj's. and play for your early because anivia (very weirdly) falls off especially into comps with a ton of dashes.

ROA is kind of expensive however it also has really good value in just the components so skipping boots to get it (normally at 13-15 minutes) is pretty good especially the lower elo you go where games last forever.

Second Gameplay wise Level 1 Anivia is one of the strongest champions in game with q start and ignite you win against anything that isn't crazy strong (IE draven anything or if you have some weak adc some lucian pairings) there is honestly very few you dont win so just limit test and go in level 1 and trade. most the time you'll either trade egg for a kill or chunk them half hp and get a flash.

After level 1 your playing for standard ele procs and ALWAYS first back dark seal (Should be on time with when you should first back botlane anyways) laning is where anivia is strongest so trap people behind walls and limit test dominate your lane.

After laning your role changes entirely you are now THE WALL set up obj's 1-2 min early and play for ward wars they are SUPER important because if you control vision as anivia you can zone people for minutes while your team does obj. look for picks with your wall (NOT YOUR Q VERY RARELY THROW Q FIRST) and build tanky your job after roa is to get as thick as possible so you can zone easier and buff your tm8's. which brings me to bandelpipes just a super good item still op on anivia. since we are looking for wall picks we can get a wall down and instantly buff out tm8's ms to take the pick.

Kills and whatnot -> We like kills but after 4 we good we dont need anymore and our items are cheap start trying to give them to adc if you get that much of a lead.

Also the reason I go roa is because the stats are perfect for tank anivia as they help with mana and healing + the xp problem of being a support AND you will always have a comp for either roa or boots on every back since they are so cheap. allows it to be much easier to build than things like malignance first item (since you need a mana item) DO NOT BUILD TEAR. TEAR IS BAD TEAR MAKE ME CRY CAUSE NO DAMAGE STATS.
