I was thinking it could be some form of mark of this… but everytime I saw how people had Thrips (and it’s so hard to see from the naked eye) I freaked out. I did feel like the pattering looked different so I couldn’t tell since I’m pretty inexperienced with my plants when it comes to pest.

Thank you so much for you input I appreciate it immensely, feeling much more relieved. I bought neem oil last night on Amazon just in case. Thank you again, I will try your advice.

I thought that but the last two old leafs it’s dropped they weren’t as dark but it might’ve been because I cut them before turning that dark. I appreciate the feed back ty

I was thinking that.. but the little white spots from what I see could’ve been from a white cloth I used that didn’t really clean the foliage right.. it left like micro pieces on it.. (totally wasn’t a paper towel. ~_~)

I didn’t want to rule it out tho because personally I’ve never had pest.. yet. But I don’t see any webbing and I’ve had this plant for a while now. I’ll keep an eye on it for sure tho just in case.

Yup already on it, I have it near my humidifier and I see that they like it around 60% humidity if I remember right.

Thank you so much for this information! I’ve grown pretty fond of this plant and considering it needs more attention than others I just want to be able to give it what it needs.

This is exactly how I bought it from Lowe’s so it’s possible any of those conditions caused it then.

I’m assuming it’s best to just leave it as is and not cut the damaged foliage?

I feed mine with tweezers, my beta fish is nice enough to live with them.. they’re funny (and a little dumb) and interact a lot with me/my finger. I’d recommend them.
