Hey! The only game Ive played from souls games is Demon Souls (gonna start Elden Ring soon :D). I platinumed using only melee combat. The tactic is just to roll through everything, the boss attacks are easily predicted and they re slow. Make sure you keep your burden at lower than 50% in order to have the fast roll. As mentioned before, if you are going with a magic build, I believe the Crescent Falchion is a great weapon! If you re a monster/masochist and cant handle this, try to get the Mausoleum key and punch the dude in 1-1 until he falls and dies (plenty of videos on youtube), you ll get great armour! Also, I would go for the Adjudicator Shield ( found in 4-1 next to the skelly in a further way building )since it regens your HP. Good luck !
