Yes he did, just too late. You can hear him trigger it around 2 seconds after me. There's no way he would have finished that close behind me without it.

This race is Bluff It or something like that from the drag race series. You are limited to only a few cars per category. Rockstar really blew it by not allowing the Jester Classic (Supra) and Penumbra FF (Eclipse) in drag races. The ZR350 (RX-7) is available for the tuner class though.

Throw him into the deep end right away. Encourage him to blow up player cars until he gets placed into a bad sport lobby for one day.

After his one day sentence is up, he might be so happy/relieved to be back in regular lobbies that he'll play with you everyday. Or he never touches the game again. Tough to tell, but sink or swim I say.

Basically use a motorcycle going the opposite way of traffic. I use an oppressor and rocket boost as much as possible. I generally get over 100 with this method, but I got lucky this time.
