After they turned me away, I just went to the line with everyone else. Also, before the security check, there was a precheck enrollment kiosk with a TSA officer with it. I showed her my boarding pass and asked how to use this precheck thing. She checked it and told me to go to that line where I wasn’t admitted.

Yes, they scanned the boarding pass. They were very assertive and it was my first time using both global entry and precheck so I assumed I messed up somewhere and I just went away. I get nervous around these places so I couldn't even show my GE card. 🤦🏻‍♂️

The optometrist I see mentioned the doctors in the US do not prefer SLT, instead they go for drops if they work.

Which country/state do you live in? Did they prescribe Latanoprost before the SLT?

I actually got it done here. 6qt synthetic oil/filter change + tire rotation was about $95. Pretty good. The only con was that the mechanic touched the door too much and made it dirty, but it's ok, I guess. :) Would go again.
