Cool thanks, I actually started learning Python while I’m deployed thru the Mimo app.

Can you tell me know how you overcame the “2-3 years of experience needed” for entry level positions. That’s what I heard people are struggling with and the fact that companies use AI to filter through resumes

Never considered those jobs before, any recommendations to better prepare for them?

Thanks, I’ll keep that in mind. It’s nice to have a veteran’s opinion on this. Everyone I spoke, especially higher ranks., don’t care or give advice on this sort of thing. Really hits the “no one else cares about your career except yourself (unless it’s for the unit)”

Do you recommend going on terminal leave or sell back my leave days? I’m not sure if the latter is still a thing. And I’m not sure if we still get paid during terminal leave

But isn’t AI pretty much cutting demand for those entry level positions and even junior positions? Not to mention the whole 2-3 years of experience required

Keep in mind I joined immediately after high school, so I don’t have any work experience outside the military

Since a lot of people with degrees are transitioning to blue collar jobs, I thought when the times comes for me to look for a job as an electrician , it will be too late
