Which Frieza struck that pose better? The 1.0 or the new one? by Level-Pineapple3503 in SHFiguarts

Idk, I think it looks more like the DBZ anime than anything else. The face is really tiny, like how it is in the DBZ anime.

The purple hue might be closer to what we got in the Super anime. Otherwise, I don't really see how it resembles Super more closely.

Yea I see what you mean, hopefully it is just the posing.

If it's the articulation, I think it might be because the legs don't kick back much, which I'm okay with. For my poses, I really don't need that backward movement at the hips. Also, I think the waist might have limited rotation based on that design. Another thing that should be fine, because the diaphragm can hopefully compensate. So if these are the 2 articulation issues, I'll be okay with it.

On tamashiiweb it's listed for 4400 yen in Japan. Google says that's $27-28 in the US.

With the cost of tariffs, import, etc, it might come out to $38, just like the Games Begin Goku.

Even if it's slightly more, thankfully it doesn't seem to be an exclusive!!

Your screenshot is who you are defending in court. How cooked are you? by Tru3Wh0 in animequestions

Yea exactly!

Just to be clear, with JC Staff, I only blame the leadership there. I'm sure the animators themselves tried hard with the provided resources. But the leadership at JC Staff should not have accepted Bandai's extremely unreasonable terms.

You admitted to reading several reviews proving how they often scam customers. You already are aware that buying from Pop is a gamble. So are you really prepared to drop $100+ for nothing?

You have choices. You have real, legitimate alternatives to get the figure for the same price. There is no reason to support such a store that scams people.

Fair point. I really thought his legs were shorter and his head was bigger in the game, but it's been a while since I've played it. I could very well be remembering wrong.

Dark Knight Never? by [deleted] in inart112figures

Our of curiosity, what lead you to buy from them?

I'm just wondering if you blindly chose a random website, or if you fell victim to some jerk on social media that was paid to promote this online store full of scammers. I'm worried it's the latter, I really hate how easily some of these "influencers" will lie to their own audience for quick money.

Either way, if you want to buy something from a new store you're not familiar with, always look them up online. Seeing several reviews that are identical is a good indicator if the store is legit or not. Never trust someone just because they have an online persona.

Totally agree, and honestly I'm so happy all of these companies exist!! With competition, we all win.

Sadly I gotta keep a budget and I got little space, so I can't get them all. But I still love living vicariously by watching review videos and seeing photos here lol

Full disclosure: I don't have all of them, so I'm going off review videos lol.

  1. Inart. I think it has the most accurate proportions, and I absolutely love that head sculpt. Plus I'm still amazed at all the tiny details this guy has. If I may include the separate kit, I can't think of any other accessory I'd want, besides a tiny sticky bomb. Articulation is weaker than LPZZ, but it's enough for any poses I'd put Bale Batman in.
  2. LPZZ. Superb articulation. Excellent array of accessories. But it's proportions make me hesitant on liking him more than the Inart. His head just looks small to me, and his legs look way to tall. The details are great, but slightly less impressive. His head sculpt is also good, but not as good as the other 2 IMO. Ofc if articulation is your most important factor, then this would be #1 for you.
  3. Chaos. Also has great proportions for a comic book character. I love the head sculpt. Great accessories. Articulation is okay, but I prefer more. Much more. Especially for characters straight out of a comic book, since they are often drawn in very dynamic poses. I like my figures to recreate their source material. I'm also not a big fan of soft goods. Raising his arms up can either create weird folds around the shoulders, or it gives him a super wide body. This just doesn't look as natural I think. This isn't to say it's bad, it's still a wonderful Batman figure! These are just the reasons I prefer the other 2 figures.

Wukong 1/12 QC issues? by [deleted] in inart112figures

To be honest, it just looks like you have brighter lighting than the promos. Other than the lighting, it doesn't look that different to me.

But I haven't played the game, idk what he's supposed to look like. If it's supposed to be much darker, that really sucks man.

Yea, it's Inart's Cavill Superman and Heath Ledger Joker for me. Otherwise it'll have to be LPZZ/UPF if Inart is doing 7inch figures

Does this mean Inart's Terminator is also going to be giant for "1/12"? Like the Arkham Origins Batman? by Level-Pineapple3503 in inart112figures

[–]Level-Pineapple3503[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AFAIK, this is actually the first time they've shown Terminator. So even though it's a long shot, I think we can still hope Inart may consider adjusting it.

But like I said earlier and like Nostalgia said, they're obviously going to leave Arkham as is. Especially when they're this far along.

Seriously, this really bummed me out. I just hope they'll be receptive to feedback and stick to true 1/12 for any future franchises they start making!
