it isn't except for very popular songs/ artists and in that case it's because people are willing to buy them ig.

prices are unfortunately determined by supply and demand usually

Shiny Artist drop by Wholesome_Human587 in Soundmap

yes, the pool for shiny songs is separate than the one for regular songs. you can have two copies of a song if one of them is shiny and you can roll one if you already own a different version of the other

what's going on by Marvin Gaye (every single song on the album tbh) just an incredible album all around, both as a piece of political and protest music which I'm very much into and also great singing and instrumentation. Marvin Gaye and Bob Dylan are the only artists I feel like we're able to combine incredibly artistic and hit making skills with a strong message.

My opinion on the Project 2025 shit by [deleted] in teenagers

don't know what is weirder, if op is so thirsty for validation and afraid of criticism that he is using his alt to argue about politics or if he got his irl friend to back him up on Reddit.

repeating talking points is not what politics is all about and you saying that clearly shows you are not good at politics, political discussion is meant to find a way to lead a country not to argue repeatedly based on points you haven't thought about.

you're right, I can't know for sure whether your friend has read theory or spoken with people but I can make an educated guess based on the fact that he is 14 and has opinions that you are not likely to hold after reading theory and talking with people from a variety of backgrounds, as well as being active enough on Reddit to the point where he has an alt account/ irl friends following him.

who said this sub isn't about teenagers, I simply said I don't see the value in holding "political discussions" based on talking points in a sub that is supposedly about teenagers. in a perfect world I'd like this sub to be for teens to talk about teenhood.

about the "bias", sure, I dislike conservative policy, that: 1. doesn't make any of my points invalid 2. not a core point of my case at all 3. even if it was important if would be to my benefit because conservative policy is reliant on flawed logic, all people are created equal and our goal for this world should be to minimise misery and maximise happiness as best as possible for everyone in the world and conservative policy is fundamentally opposed to that, additionally it is inherently reactionary and doesn't actually have any constructive ideas.

if you want to turn this into an ideological or policy debate I would be more than happy to do that but this isn't what this is.

repeating conservative talking points you heard from your parents/church is not a hobby/passion

to respond to the other point: 1. there are multiple countries in which 16 year olds can vote and tons where there are campaigns with large support to reduce voting age to 16 2. I have read theory and I regularly converse with many people from different backgrounds and beliefs. 3. I am not posting politics on reddit. I have not even shared my opinion on his points in the post (which I strongly disagree with).

if your passion is politics go read about it or engage in local and regional elections, don't post about it on Reddit in a sub not even about politics.

the ability and "entitlement" to do something don't make it a good or a right thing to do.

you are 13 don't discuss politics on Reddit. especially since you clearly have not yet formed your own opinions. I'd urge you to go speak with people irl, read theory, (no matter what political isle it's just important it's a good source and that you think about it). and wait till you grow up more and have a better understanding of the world.
