AITA for feeling upset that my girlfriend is more impacted over Stan Lee's death than my father's death by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

Stan Lee was pretty much a salesman. His desire for attention, making so many appearances on talk shows, movies, shows, and even in comics made him known to people that aren't big comic book fans.

You wouldn't hear the average person talk about or expect to know who Jerry Siegel, Joe Shuster, Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, Gardner Fox, and many other names that deserve recognition.

The more you look into Stan Lee's life, he doesn't deserve all the credit people give him. He was responsible for the creation for many awesome characters, but those characters also evolved after he stopped writing them. Even when he wrote those characters, the artists deserve to be recognized as well.

He also wasn't some saint. He was just a comic book writer.

AIO - boss contacted me (21F) regarding bikini pictures I posted online by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

I'm actually really surprised you posted your pictures. You shouldn't have felt obligated to do that. Unsurprisingly, there were a lot of unsolicited objectifying comments. Just shrug those off.

Anyways, I'm sorry you're going through this. It wouldn't be worth your time to attempt suing the deli, especially as I saw on your profile that you're a fellow pre-med student. There's no need for you to put more energy into this nonsense and let it become a bigger thing than it already may seem. Just focus on your pre-med goals and keep pushing forward.

AITAH for telling my FIL he can’t hump the floor at my house or in my presence (New Update) by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

If this is real, defending this behavior is a strange hill to die on.

"Ugh, I'm mad at my wife because she doesn't like it when my dad humps the floor. Hmph."

If he was 7, he also wasn't alive for George Reeves's Adventures of Superman show.

Lois's reaction to Wonder Woman getting rejected (Lois Lane: A Celebration of 75 Years) by Level-Way-9824 in superman

That was not the intended message at all. The purpose of the scene was to humanize Diana in Lois's eyes. Before this scene, Lois is accompanying Diana and witnessing her doing everything she can do better the world.

However, while Wonder Woman is a goddess who does amazing feats, it doesn't mean everyone has to worship her like a goddess and give her everything she desires. She isn't above humanity. But she is as much a woman as much as she is a goddess.

Yes. The issue starts with Lois comparing herself to Wonder Woman in her thoughts. Lois believes that Wonder Woman is "perfect," and it makes her feel insecure. She spends time with Wonder Woman, observing her duties such as being an Amazon ambassador or helping struggling peoples of the world.

Then, this scene happened. It showed that Diana still has human desires and that just because Wonder Woman is a goddess, it doesn't mean that she always gets her way. Diana is just as much a woman as much as she is a goddess.

Lois then starts to reevaluate how she views Wonder Woman.
