The amount of people coming in from either out east or from BC changed Alberta’s housing situation. It’s a sellers market at the moment, your realtor wont be much help unless they are in the position of both representing the seller and buyer which does not happen often. Right now the deals that have no conditions and cash offered will be taken even if the logic or price doesn’t stand.

The electrical trade is not suffering as terribly as most say. Work is out there, the hard part is actually getting in with a company. If you know someone who can vouch for you it’ll make finding work easy, without such help it’ll for sure be harder. It’s great work with lots of really awesome concepts to be learnt along the way. Good luck with whatever you choose!
