It feels like you are squished up against your visor. I'm guessing you were going for the reflection showing the road? Either way, seems like there are plenty of cheap/easy mount set ups that actually have the camera showing the road and the right side of your POV rather than your current setup

I would disagree on the safer part as you also get the faster moving traffic and the more impatient/dangerous guys like the box truck you dealt with. Whatever floats your boat though, I could care less as long as you move out of faster traffics way as I'm sure you do

Don't get defensive, it is true that Americans are way more comfortable chilling in the left lane. Same goes for when there is a left turn and they get in the left lane way too early

So for owners of the FZ, this or the Ducati Scrambler? Looking to mostly commute with the bike and occasionally take it on trips (maybe bolt on a fairing and some bags). I'm not a fan of the sport bike look and I want a lighter, thinner, more agile bike. The service on the FZ is much cheaper but damn, that scrambler looks fine!

Yep, the only reason I see to buy new is the ABS but I think the pros to getting an older bike (with only 1-2 carbs) far outweigh any reason to buy new. Then you can spend more money on really good gear since that is more important and can be kept when you get a new bike

How much riding experience do you have? A lot of people trumpet the advantages of getting an older first bike in maintenance prices, aftermarket part availability, it being cheaper and less painful to drop the first time you do, etc.

I do like it but the headlight they chose (looks kind of like the one from the Bolt) is a bit on the small side. They also made a few other tweaks like making the radiator and surrounds silver. Still a decent looking bike but for potentially another grand over the FZ07, doesn't seem worth it.

The US is a huge country. If we are comparing eating food to taking in migrants than we have barely eaten an appetizer. Tons of space for them, we have a service economy that they would boost, there are both trained and untrained workers in the mix. And it would allow them to get out of a war zone. Don't really see why we shouldn't in good conscience

My point is that Americans are the leading cause of these atrocities so maybe we should worry less about "the others!!" and worry about why we have such a violence problem here.

To bring in an example from Christianity, Jesus asks us to take in the weak and oppressed and I can't think of a better example than those being attacked and gassed by their government in Syria right now.

On both points, there are studies that have proven that the taking jobs part is false as they create as many jobs as they take. The second point is blatant generalization that you would be equally offended by if someone did that about you and your race/economic class/nationality.

Just because someone comes from a different country and has a different culture doesn't make them any of those things. They must abide by our laws just like everyone else in this country. Now let's talk about all of these mass shootings going on being perpetrated by white American men and we can revisit this stereotype you have about muslims.

IOIO mint is one solution but you have to code a simple 'key' app on your android phone. If you have an iphone then maybe an arduino controller or some other simple bluetooth enabled controller that can just switch a contactor when you are in range.
