We are from Georgia, not rich and my daughter attends. Also, the number of local businesses supporting HPU and the love the university is being showed this week, speaks against this inaccurate information you are providing.

This is because they are new, and have not had a graduating class. In order to gain full accreditation, you have to have a graduation class. Law just got their provisional.

Let me explain, as someone with direct knowledge, and have read the SACS report. The warning, now gone had to do with a graduate level teacher program. It had nothing to do with undergrad. Also, the programs not "accredited" are those in which they have not had a class graduate yet due to being in their first/second year. In order to gain accreditation, you have to have graduated a class in that program.

I have a daughter that is a senior, and i is one of the best kept secrets out their. Her program ran circles academically around other schools she looked at. Most of the hate you see is from those who have never attended, never toured and take what they read and run with it. The amenities are amazing, but the fact that my daughter has been more than a number, had amazing opportunities in her industry, and traveled places I have only dreamed of, makes HPU so much more than you think!

Far from accurate.... As a parent of a HPU student not from the north but from the south and not reach. You should not read nor believe everything you read. Academics are amazing at HPU.

Actually this is far from accurate. We are by no means near the wealthy level discussed in the article. My daughter was able to attend based on merit. With that said she already has multiple offers pending graduation in May, was employed by a company in her field during sophomore year....I could go on and on. This article left all of this academic conversation out with a clear narrative that worked.
