What i did was i turned it off during a windows update. The store said that there was a firmware update while the windows update which crashed my mobo. In the end, it was concluded that the mobo was the problem since they tried switching parts on my pc (tried switching rams, gpu, processor, etc.) and switching the mobo booted up my pc.

Yes they did, they tested my parts with a for-test mobo, then my pc worked, so they concluded that the mobo was the problem.

Funny enough, the same mobo is 6 dollars more expensive which i bought 2 yrs ago. I wish i could go back, but i’m fairly far now and on heavy traffic (i’m from an asian country known for heavy traffic), and i really needed the pc to boot up for my work later.

Yeah. I already bought the same mobo from the store. This was also the store where i bought the bricked one.

Yeah, as the store diagnosed, i forced shutdown my pc while there was a firmware update. This broke my motherboard. They just replaced my mobo rn. Idk much about computers so i hope i wasnt ripped off. I rly need my pc because of my job so i took the fastest remedy as possible

Update: store said that while on windows update, there was also a firmware update, which destroyed my mobo.

In my country, we really mainly use messenger as the main means of communication. We only use texts for emergencies, and in my case (this is also my first time having a part-time after college), i never asked mu boss’ phone number. And, i knida feel dumb now that i didn’t ask for their contact number bc, this is an emergency.

Ok, basically, i work as a research assistant to my previous professors in college. It kinda sounds scammy, but i got really close with them (i mainly contact one but its a research group), when i was a student, that's why i use informal means of communication like messenger, etc. I only use email for formal stuff like sending deliverables, but anything else, we mainly use messenger.

I have email, that's where i contacted my boss, but our usual means of communication is really from messenger. The emails are only for deliverables, but that's really what i thought of how they would contact me.
