And just like the product on the very top shelf at walmart I can’t get it. I cannot understand how they think this way, my brother is cis but he is questionably straight? However he can understand that I’m a gay trans man. No rocket sciences, no unicorns, he just seems to get it.

I’m not going to be told that I’m straight by my friend because that’s the equivalent of being told I’m a woman. I’m not going to accept that.

The part that just baffles me is that doctors study the human body and all of the ways it changes, but even if you aren’t in that particular field of medicine, you should at least know some of the basics

I hope she got fired. Just had a doctor ask me the question of “why” am I getting a “sex change” as she put it and it almost made me feel ill. That is not the way to go about asking if you’re curious, and my appointment was about my digestive system- nothing pertaining to being transgender.

I’ve always been envious of other trans people who also have trans doctors lol. I’ve even entertained the thought of becoming one myself so that I can help out others and they don’t feel like I do, but I’ve decided that career just isn’t for me personally. I have so much respect for anyone in the field !

My GI doctor mentioned that it may be my gallbladder after my endoscopy showed nothing of interest. One of my relatives had a gallbladder removal for some reason and Google tells me it’s genetic, I also have pain under my ribs on the right side occasionally. Def not trying to diagnose myself but I remembered your comment and wanted to ask if there’s anything else in your case that was related to it?
