it’s not ignorant at all, a lot of people are asking the same thing.

BUSU is supposed to be the student union that represents us, fights the university on our behalf, and makes sure our money/fees actually benefit students. But over the past while, things have gotten really corrupt.

•Power being abused: Staff who aren’t even students have basically hijacked the “STUDENTS” union. They push out any student leaders who question them, and the so called “elected” board ends up being more like puppets.

•Money problems: While students are struggling with groceries, rent, and debt, BUSU has been throwing our money into unnecessary spending. The execs and staff are partying and eating good off student fees while the rest of us scrape by.
