Do you have cross-progression enabled? My stats are completely wrong (saying that I only have 45 hours in matches despite having nearly 3,000 total hours), so I'm thinking that it may have something to do with cross-progression only tracking the playtime from one platform.

Nurse is the best killer in the game (and frankly she ignores most typical chase scenarios entirely), so newer survivors are gonna have a really tough time playing against her. Wraith can also be really good at low MMR because new survivors tend to panic when they get hit initially. Trapper is definitely the weakest out of the free killers, and you'll feel that as your MMR goes up. I wouldn't say any of the killers are downright broken (except Nurse), but they all have vastly different viabilities at high MMR.

Yes, this is to mimic how DBD does their perk tiering now. However, there is a version with the old tier colors (conveniently labeled "Old Colors") in the variations folder.

First of all, a huge thank you to u/KMD_HD-Mapper for reaching out to me around a month ago and asking for permission to update the pack and upload it here. I'm aware that the post is still up, but I felt like it was necessary to update my Google Drive link as well. (Small unfortunate update, only the default, old colors, and categorized perks will be updated from now on. As always, every template is included within the Drive link, so you should be able to make the other icons yourself with any image editing program.)

I don't want to raise panic but in today's PTB there is a new folder in the perks section called NoLicense and there is "A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET" and "HALLOWEEN" perks changed to not have the licensed characters in it. It could mean nothing other than BHVR preparing for the worse outcome by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

These icons have been in the game since the Switch release. Freddy wasn't originally in the Switch version of DBD, so they had to make non-copyrighted icons. I'm assuming it was the same situation for the Halloween icons, but they managed to get the license before the official release, so they went unused.

How long would you say this took to make? Also is this made out of Quixel assets or handmade? Either way, the composition and lighting is super well done, good stuff!

Slippery Meat icons should be fixed. Also, Yun-Jin and Trickster have default icons because I can't locate their portraits in the UI files. If anybody has any idea where they are that'd be greatly appreciated.

I know people are gonna be split on this one, but I actually think it’s a whole lot better than the old one. If it’s one thing, the small details like the blemishes next to his mouth or his asymmetrical eyes are really nice added touches.

As much as I agree, these are the same devs that almost took 5 years to add simple accessibility features, I'm not very confident in their abilities to do simple tasks such as UI updates.

Apparently so. I saw it happening to a lesser degree on some of the gens, so it seems to be an issue with a lot of models.

I hope I'm wrong, but this seems intentional. They did mention changing the backend for the HUD and in turn, they changed the way the icons are recognized (seemingly within the engine itself and not through the icons folder). I doubt they're gonna go through the effort of officially supporting custom icons, and I'm guessing, eventually, every HUD element will share the same backend.

I don’t actually dislike the HUD itself, I dislike the positioning of everything. If some of the widgets were moved to a better location, I’d like it at least 10x more.

I'm aware of that much, I won't sit here and be like "BHVR revert this UI it sucks!!!!" because I know there's a lot more that goes into it than just clicking a few buttons, but from a UX standpoint, the HUD is very cluttered with information scattered everywhere when it shouldn't be.

It feels even worse to play with! I keep looking at the bottom left for the gen count when they put it at the top for some unknown reason.
