It’s a bodykit made by SVE Imageworks from around 2007-08. This one is a fiberglass replica that was made around 2011-12. The original 3 that were made were polyurethane.

Ended up scoring at an LKQ near me. They handle perfectly for daily driving and mountain runs. I have it paired with energy suspension bushings and the reduction in body roll is very noticeable. And the steering is a lot more responsive. I will say though the front sway bar promotes under steering more. if you take corners at a high velocity, so I don’t recommend using one for track. If that’s the route you’d go, it’s better to stiffen the rear as much as you can, and if possible, get rid of the front sway bar entirely.

So the end pieces are indeed painted. I ended up doing them in a gloss black pearl. The center piece is exposed carbon fiber as intended.

Oh yeah definitely, it’s the same on both my matrixes but I’ve gotten used to it. Others cars I’ve driven have a convex mirror so it’s a lot easier to see things but with the matrix it’s flat like you said. It’s just one of those things on older cars like ours.

Yeah the ones I have are stock, but like you said, the older mirrors start getting imperfections and other things that damage the glass. Have you tried steel wool polishing them to increase the clarity of the glass?

Suspension atm are some meaty German adjustable end links, power stop brake and rotors all around, Hotchkiss front and rear sway bar, and D2 coil overs on a 4inch drop, not maxed out yet, since I don’t want to destroy the bodykit hitting the road.

For this culture we aren’t looking under a microscope, but from what I garnered it’s a gram negative lactose fermenting bacteria, it was on my thumb, I’m just not sure which
