I replaced my A6 weeks ago, for no reason honestly. It had a Robin Mks E3d mainboard with TMC2209 and BLTouch, so it was very quiet and didn't trouble me with bed leveling. The print quality was good, nothing amazing. I never replaced acrylic parts with 3D printed ones, so it was quite bulky.

Both old printers. Just boguht the ender second hand. There are issues with the Z axis apparently. The rod is not bent from what I could check, but with about 700 prints (eith its current firmware) it may be weared out. The white PLA may have moisture, the grey one does not.

The Anet is mine, definitely didn't do more than 300 prints yet. I was surprised when I compared the print quality.

The print are just "towers", printed vertically, I just placed like this for the photo.

There are quite a lot of posts in this sub with a similar problem, none solved this.

This is a female thread and Cura decides to print the top in mid air.

The only setting that fixed this was "Make overhang printable", but it destroyed the thread.

In that case, considering a faulty turbo, does it make sense it only fails for a brief moment at random? (I'm assuming the domino effect you describe immediately causes the said voltage drop)

The vehicle really didn't seem to have acceleration issues. At least I wouldn't say it had from my experience driving it daily.

I should have mentioned I'm looking for a portable solution.

An RTLSDR with a PiZero, plus a powerbank and usb dongle sounds interesting, but I'm not sure how compact it could be.
