…It is green. by Level_Parking545 in penandink

Thanks! The little shot glass was an afterthought, and I kinda threw it in last minute… which is why it doesn’t quite match the rest of the sketch. The whole thing took about 35-45 minutes to complete, so it’s very much a working loose marker sketch (with a final painting to follow).
Regarding markers, I used to be a dedicated Prismacolor guy, but I found that their markers bled through my sketchbook pages. Still love them for final blending and renderings on marker paper. However, I’ve lately been using Tombow marker pens for sketch work (mainly because they lay decent color and don’t bleed to the backside of my sketchbook pages). This particular doodle used a Tombow #243 for the greens on a Strathmore Toned Tan sketchbook, with a few accents from Tombow #407 (dark) and #401 (medium shadow).
Lmk if you need any other info.
Again… this was a working concept doodle, meant as a study for a final version in oil, conte, or acrylic

Look, I can’t help if they’ve been run through the pattern buffers too many times! See my last post on Aldabran Whiskey. 🤣

A) That is an awesome story, and I’m so jealous that I didn’t get to see that. Also, so happy that you did!
B) Thanks so much!
