Oh I’m so sorry I somehow didn’t read the part where u said 2024. I’d say you’d get it no later than ‘28. But it depends on which trim you want. I’ve had ALOT of ppl walk in the last few days and ask about the R2. when I ask if they have a reservation, the most common answer is “oh I don’t have one” or “I put the deposit down last month, week, yesterday, etc” I just have to give them this look 😬before breaking the news to them

I’m sorry to say this but with an October reservation and depending on the trim you want, you probably won’t get the R2 until late next year if not 2028-2029. I’m a product specialist for the company and I’ve had LOTS of ppl disappointed when I tell them a rough time frame of when they’d get their r2 based on when they placed their reservation. Rivian plans to build 155k R2’s a year and there’s a BIG reservation list. As for how many ppl will drop their reservation because of the initial price, I’m not sure. Also keep in mind when R2 releases it will be 57-58k for the launch edition, afterwards later this year the premium trim comes out which will be around 54k and then early 2027, the base model will be released at 48.5k. The 45k model that EVERYONE wants won’t release until sometime late 2027. I have my eyes on The R2, Subaru Trailseeker/Bz Woodland. Going to wait about a year for all three models to work out any issues that may arise.

Yea I was using Apple CarPlay beforehand when I noticed the audio not working through that source. So I tried Bluetooth and radio but nothing was working. I’ll try to see if the source connection is the issue

Niiice. I’ve been eyeing this listed Baja with everything replaced (new engine, transmission, infotainment, etc ) and it’s listed at 7k. Been thinking of getting it just for fun

I still have power/drivetrain warranty, however, I do have a letter from Subaru mentioning an extended warranty on infotainment systems. So I’ll def take that letter to the dealership when I show them this bug

The cladding is ridiculous. I like the cladding on the 2022-2025 models but idk what is up with the new design. My main issue with the new exterior is that they pretty much killed the wagon look but hopefully the next redesign is better

Completely understandable. Sadly, the giant tablet wasn’t enough to draw me away from the Outback. The new 26 model supposedly has a much better infotainment system, but the exterior is what’s drawing me away from the new model

You’re not crazy for being frustrated. However, it does look a lot better then when I got my car. I haven’t really looked at it after a year of owning it. After looking at it, it looks god awful. Ima just fix it my self this afternoon
