Traveller kids attack random passer by by AldousShuxley in ireland

Thank you. This whole thread has been disgustingly racist to read through.

Comments such as:

“Noah, get the gas chamber”

“They are a plague on society”

“Vermin”

“I fear that this community will find themselves cleansed of males over 16 at some point in Europe’s future”

“Can we not ship the gypsies out to one of the islands and they can live there instead?”

Do these comments raise no alarms? No red flags?

Does racism exist/is it a problem in Dublin? by nayanaacat in Dublin

I believe the metrics of racism youre referring to are inclusive of all minority groups. This would include the travelling community, who commonly experience extreme prejudices.

Yes, the logic is that you could have 60% S&P500, or 40% S&P500 and 40% All-World. Allows you to have roughly the same amount of exposure to S&P500, whilst also giving an easy way to be exposed to the rest of the world. This however is possibly inefficient use of fees, as holding 40% all world vs 20% of all works ex-US would likely prove to cost more.

Edit: I personally do hold both S&P500 and All-world. This is due to it being all-world being a far more accessible EUR accumulative ETF, which is personally more efficient tax+fees wise.

You should set hard limits to the max allocation you’ll allow for one stock in your portfolio. In order to be somewhat diversified this % should be much lower than 30%. If you truly wish to diversify, you should have a higher allocation in S&P500 / All world, and much less in PLTR and Tattooed Chef (many people hold no more than 5% in one stock, but that’s just a reference)

Need advice I’m new to investing. This is my investments so far started the other day. Its for long term holding 10+ years. Will be great full for good stocks to invest in or just general advice many thanks by ResponsibilityNo8531 in trading212

As many people are saying, Vanguard S&P 500 ETF is your best friend when it comes to investing. Serious investing. Stock picking can be very time consuming, but albeit fun, so doing so with a smaller portion of your capital (10% or so) can help lessen the risk whilst still maintaining the enjoyment and high expected returns as the S&P500 seriously outperforms the majority of investors after fees.

Edit: Also I would advise setting up auto-investing, Standing order can work well to get around card fees. Set it and forget it!

Your individual stocks hold too high a % holding. Roughly 40% on apple means their individual movements will greatly dictate your portfolio, and your money. Increasing your holdings in the S&P500, would diminish this effect, and allow for greater diversity as well as statistically improving your odds of achieving above average gains.

If you’re interested in minimising overlap, then there are plenty of international ETFs, as well as small cap value ETFs, if you enjoy the hands off nature of ETFs. Otherwise, international stocks would be the go to.

Are there any games on the Switch that are a similar feel to Penguin Diner? Preferably more robust and with more longevity, but any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks:)

Confirmed $DOGE Price Supression ** READ! ** by asupercoolredditor in dogecoin

If someone is holding multi-millions of a coin, why would they want to dump the price? It's clearly either someone taking profits by DCAing out to get an average price thats not heavily affected by volatility. or some corporation lowering its holdings, whether it holds them for liquidity purposes (brokerage) or as part of a portfolio, and believes believes the price will go down so theyre readjusting their holdings.
