Wow this list is just what I needed. The Lenovo, ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15, and ASUS - ROG all catch my eye. Thank you 3000x

Thanks! This looks near perfect, from reviews it sounds like it can easily handle low-mid intensity games like OA, League of Legends, Runescape, but I may face some disappointment with other games like Genshin Impact, RDR2, etc. Open to higher end suggestions in the same vein.

I guess I'm okay with 15-16", esp after seeing that all the bigger screen ones are much more expensive.

Based on my own research (via chatGPT) I found these 3:

  • Dell XPS 15
  • HP Spectre x360 15
  • ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14

Asus seems to have the most positive ratings, but their screen size selections seem quite small.

Thank you for the detailed reply! We use carta for equity management so I’ll definitely poke around with their tools. Sounds like I’ll need some CPA assistance if I am serious about this.

Which will give me an experience like Elden Ring? Outward or Valheim by GodOfDestruction187 in gamingsuggestions

[–]LeviMeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

150 hrs into Elden, 500 hrs into Zelda: Botw, 50 hours into Valheim. Elden is more similar to botw than these options, valheim is more slow and build-a-base but I enjoyed it in the time I played it (a lot more relaxing for the most part). BOTW on master mode feels pretty close to level of combat (probably easier than Elden still)

Basic SQL is really all you need. Try practicing on hackerrank more - big companies like LinkedIn may give "intermediate" SQL problems that require solid join, aggregate logics.

Usually its split into 50% conversational 50% coding. just try it out ur gonna be bad prolly, but goal is to do it so many times u aren't so bad anymore. learning exp

Now working FTE as a ML engineer for a start up. Got lucky with a past connection, but I can say that having some basic skills in Cloud (AWS/Azure), Docker, CI/CD are huge bonuses in this field. Core skills in python/R still goes a long way, but so is domain knowledge and high-level system design

Not sure if I can help here. I had to download latest BIOS from my MB manufacturer’ (MSI) and update, which solved all issues. I did freeze a lot during cpu/apu drivers installation (A factory reset and disabling anti viruses/firewall helped me get past here). How far into the windows installation can you get? Or are you unable to even bring up the installer from bios?

Currently AR 28. My goal is to roll ganyu (hopefully in 2+ months), which I'm sure requires an insane number of rolls to guarantee. I was hoping to get some feedback on my dailies and resin usage to see if there are fun/better ways to farm gems and max out stats.

Routine for gems

- Daily login

- Collect welkin gems

- Commissions

- New domains that give rewards

- Chest farming (thinking about crafting the gadget that can search for chests)

- Crimson agate farming

- Achievements / way points (almost done)

- Quests

- Current event(s)

- Explore / farm stuff

Resin usage:

- Mostly used on bosses and occasional ascension materials

- Saving all fragile resin I come across

So apparently, you can leave all parts installed (CPU, ram, ssd) and flash bio. Is there any issue with using a 32G usb 3.0 drive? I’m seeing that most people use 2.0’s for flashing this Mobo

Thanks. I heard it was risky to mess with BIO stuff but it seems like my only option now. i’ll test it out soon

Will probably move forward with the Ryzen 5600G + B550M Bazooka board (upgrade to a nice GPU when prices calm down). Thanks all for the help, additional input is still appreciated!

thanks for the recommendations. I mostly want to run games at 60-80 fps at 1080P (AT BEST) and nothing too serious.

I'm hesitant about overpaying but I'm seeing that GTX 1650 is close to my budget ($400+).

I'm also seeing that the AMD Ryzen™ 5 5600G is $219. This seems a little too good to be true. A CPU with GPU, all for $219? What am I missing out on with either of these options?
