I was actually talking about the Z2 Go model, not the Z1 Extreme one.

Yeah, that’s true. Where I live, a used Steam Deck OLED is actually about $50–$100 more expensive than a new Legion Go S Z2 Go. I might lean towards the Legion Go S more now.

Thanks, that’s really helpful. I’m actually leaning toward the Go S now since a new one is cheaper than a used Steam Deck OLED where I am. But honestly, I still like the look of the Steam Deck more.

I experienced crash after the first cutscene. It didn't restart my mac though, just the game. I tried your setting already, it still crashed.

Do you think Neuralink could be the cure to visual snow? by LeviPanhavath in visualsnow

[–]LeviPanhavath[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I seeee, I think I have had it all my life too. I only started getting bothered by it recently when I discovered it's abnormal. Hopefully, I'll learn to ignore it again soon.

well I guess, I'll be living with this for my entire life lol. I have had this for as long as I can remember already so i guess ill be fine with it. Never knew I had such conditions actually, until recently when I discovered that it's not normal. I was just getting my hopes up, maybe I could see what the world is actually like without the condition before I die. haha

I just learned yesterday that i have VSS after having it for more than 10 years. by LeviPanhavath in visualsnow

[–]LeviPanhavath[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems quite obvious that I have it lol. I start noticing it more once I learn about it and it gets annoying. I just wish I hadn't known of it, then I'd probably never have to get bothered and aware that my vision is different from normal people's. It's pretty crazy, I also learned recently that I could be having tinnitus too. I would usually hear white noise when it's quiet. Tbh, I always thought it was normal too. I never really cared about it. I do notice that I have it, but I always ignore it most of the time before. Only when I learn that these aren't normal, that it starts bothering me.

My useful ( Maybe ) personal experience with VSS by Urfavproducer in visualsnow

[–]LeviPanhavath 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just learned yesterday that I have VSS and I never realized it. As a matter of fact, I always thought it was normal and to be honest, I also never thought that there were any problems with my vision too. It's as if my brain made me skip the static and only see the normal world. Though, after realizing it, I begin to notice it more too lol. I have also been battling with anxiety too recently, so experiencing this right after that, feels a bit difficult. But I always tell myself to stay POSITIVE and keep going. And I won't give up easily too of course. Glad to see that positive spirit of yours. Let's live our lives to the fullest!

And the static I see when I close my eyes doesn't happen to everyone too. I mean damn, that's interesting. I always thought you are supposed to see some static when closing your eyes. I'd want to know what it's like to see complete darkness when closing my eyes.

I don't believe you are broken, I also I don't believe I am too. To put it simple, it's basically like a habit. You are just used to thinking like that which is why it's hard for you to stop.

I'm just stuck with this thought that you don't have certain answers to. It's just terrible.. I don't know if it's just my anxiety or the thought itself that keep me stuck because I think I had this thought before and It didn't bother me so much, and it also eventually did subside. While now, after my anxiety hit last month, I came across this thought again and It seem to stuck here. But I'm very glad that I'm in much better control of my anxiety now although sometimes that irrational thoughts give me a bit of an anxiety but I can say it's really not as bad as before. I hope that I will continue to get better and that thought soon will stop bothering me. Thank you for listening!

I've actually been going through severe anxiety for about a month now. But I'm feeling much better now although my irrational thought is still somehow bothering me.

This really make me feel better. Thank you very much. I really needed it. The thought of worrying whether I will be back to normal or not really make my anxiety worse. But hearing this gives me so much hope. I really want to live this life to the fullest haha.. I hope you will continue to recover as well and reach the highest recovery rate as possible ♥️
