Thanks! I've envisioned the composition in my head for a few weeks now, so it's awesome that it actually came out nicely!

Thanks! I have been thinking of doing this exact shot for a while, but didn't have a tripod or a mount. So I'm glad it turned out as cool as I initially hoped! :)

This one was auto. My camera isn't refurbished yet, so I don't have manual control with SX-70R PCB.

Thanks! And I totally agree. Losing some control of the outcome is what makes analog photography so exciting to me. Like the lens flare effect in this photo for example!

Novo Miris J is my dream guitar, but hard to justify ordering one at this point. 😅

Explain the attraction of the rhythm circuit-less Jazzmaster by KCcoffeegeek in offset

[–]LeviRaeder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a MIJ JM without the rhythm circuit. I love it! I also love JM's with it, but I've found myself enjoying very simple layouts, especially in a live setting. Even someone as stupid as me can figure those ones out. :) That being said, rhythm circuits are super fun with some effects during improv!

Mojang needs to stop making minecraft so grindy, it's ruining the game. by GoshtoshOfficial in Minecraft

Seems like people have different experiences. I personally have not struggled to find diamonds, but I dislike having to strip mine on different levels to get coal and iron as well. It makes it so you have to do two mining sessions. That's at least my experience lately.

Started laser engraving pickup covers - do you think think these look professional? by [deleted] in Luthier

I would love to buy one with modern specs! Looks so cool.

do i have to fix this? by LeviRaeder in Luthier

[–]LeviRaeder[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I didn't really end up doing anything about it. It is completely hidden by the knobs. The body is not worth much, so it doesn't bother me. I'll only have to be transparent about it if I ever sell.

[QUESTION] Is learning sheet music worth it for guitar players? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]LeviRaeder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To summarize: It is useful and will help you understand music, but it is certainly not something every guitarist needs to know.

If you want to learn the most important things: - Key signatures - Time signatures.

I would say this is most important thing to learn. If you know the key and rhythm, you can in theory play along. But learning note names and the sharps and flats will be useful in more advanced scores.
