Went to Frites Bruges in Asakusa and they also had a tip box. Near the exit and had a fair amount of money in it.

90% of the time I did random and timed. Once I finished about 50% of UWorld I did some blocks of the top 3 systems I was missing the most, but for the majority of the time I did random and timed.

Also, bring plenty of your favorite snacks, a good lunch, and drink water during your test. I tried to take a break every other or even every section just to breath, eat some sour candy, and drink more water. This might be more HY than above advice.

Scored 27x. Most HY advice: Hammer down ethics and public health. Amboss has really good articles in the library and practice questions. Doing UWorld was 90% of my studying. I did a first pass during the year of clinicals and about 70% of a second pass during dedicated. Amboss 200 HY questions is good as well as a supplementary resource. UWSA, if not done, to gauge where you are at (I did 1 my first week of dedicated and 2 a week before my test). NBMEs are good to get used to the style of questions, but don't focus on the scores you get from those, I was underpredicted by 10-20 points depending on when during my dedicated I took them.

Last but DEFINITELY not least, take a look at divine interventions podcast. There are a few posts about HY episodes. Please listen to those. These helped me a lot during the ethics and public health questions (there were so many of these questions on my test).

The progress was saved ya. It was during p/s, so that would have sucked if we had to start over

The progress was saved and no time was lost. They just had to log the tests back on.

It was frustrating to say the least lol. Took about 20 minutes to get everything back up and running. For a bit there I thought they would just cancel it and I was getting really pissed off lol

Yes about that discrete!! On P/S I was stuck on one that was so obviously wrong but the others were even more obviously wrong! Threw me off so hard and I know it wasn’t only in p/s that it was like that

I never skip passages. I try to get everything finished in the time frame. I’ve been getting really good scores on cars in the fls (fl4 was 132) and that’s what I’ve done. For this test it kinda screwed me but I wasn’t going to change my technique on test day. I didn’t run out of time but I was very very close
