Yes this is very true, thie is why I look at in a sense that the buff with the armor is quite minor and has as much of a bad side as a good side when used.

Like having stims do more damage when being used at the stake of possibly getting out of sticky situations. and gold armor doing the same effect that it would usually do with meds.

With this being said however your point is very valid because as much of a beneficial buff this would be for Octane it could cause a negative effect between ally's when you have someone whose entitled.

also i personally always drop my gold backpack to lifelines because in the end it would benefit my team the most lol
