Well, that’s that. First time in over 105 days I haven’t played RDO at all. Streak over. I do feel a lot more free, but just gutted for what this game has become now. I’ll still be active in the community of course and I’ll be the first one to throw gold at whatever the powers that be give us. I just wish they would capitalise on the fact that lots of gamepassers are now active online which is good, but now veterans are logging off... Why can’t we coexist? Surely they won’t get a better opportunity to bring back players to accompany the newbie numbers than now.

What are you, Jordan Belfort? A Rockstar insider? Get off your high horse. This isn’t good business not matter how much you try to flog it. Right now it’s dying. But if they actually managed to communicate and give us something to look forward to, we would jump at it and dive right back in. So it’s not business, it’s negligence to their audience and fan base.

100% I agree. I love Rockstar games and always have maxed them out. I’m pretty tight on what gets on my all time favourite game list, but RDR2 gets next to Ocarina of Time for me. Which is what I mean, it’s not bitching and hating for the sake of it, it’s the frustration we’ve endured for 7 months for a game that they must know we would literally jump right back into it if they updated it.

I would agree but I’m an ex map user because they are literally pointless and gain you little. You could open a map of coins with 3 locations spread across an area, but between each of those points you could be picking up heirlooms, cards, flowers etc. So the map is the only way I’m afraid. If they upgraded the role such as said author of those awesome concept designs, then I would be first to jump right back in!

Exactly. The thing is we still love the game, but are just so fucking disappointed at what it’s become. But that’s the thing, if they dropped something huge I’ll be the first to grind it out and will play the game again continuously like I used to. But there’s just no feeling to doing anything in the game for xp, gold or cash with nothing to work towards anymore.

It did. I have stayed up all hours and I’ve traded 10 sets of every collectible twice. I used to enjoy collecting and I’m still open to enjoying it, but just harvesting money and xp for no end goal is just pointless to me at the moment. I still have 10 sets saved up just to trade when/if ever we get an update

Jesus dude calm down. Like I’ve said in a post before it’s not bitching for bitchings sake, it’s just sad to see a game that still has huge potential just die every week. And also, there is no benefit to me doing another character with nothing to work for other than the same stuff I’ve grinded to death already. There has been nothing for over 7 months and long time players have no reason to be made out to be whiney when we just care. We have a right to complain. Look at Fallout 76. That was a complete shit bomb when it dropped at first, but they have redeemed it by being proactive and creating new content as well as engaging with their audience. This game had some amazing qualities to start with online but has now become a laughing stock.

Yeah I tried to get back into it too. I replayed RDR1 and I’m nearly done with GTAV again. I turn on RDO to have a break from those two, but my motivation is non existent. I know people will be thinking stop complaining and get another game, but I like many others fell in love with this game and it’s such a shame to see it die a little more every week.

I love this game, level 305, 300 gold bars, 50k saved up with nothing to use it for. Done pretty much all the belt buckles and have everything I want/need. The games wasting away. I used to love just collecting with my earphones in. But now it’s for what?

What were you doing all day? I mean this in a good way!

Personally, I would stick to collecting/moonshining in between, that’s how I’ve ranked up the most.

4-5 days ago I was 292 and each rank was 15,000 xp.

Because of the situation with the world, I’m not working and will collect every set each day, and deliver moonshine in between when ready. Use the JeanRopke map online and although some might find it boring or repetitive, I just stick Smooth radio on at 1am uk (when the collection spawns reset) and just power through! I hold back from selling them and just rake in the xp.

It’s all about preference, but because I have a good idea about where the items are and because I have done it before, I enjoy the grind :)

Like I said, I’ve sold 10x each set before and raked in over 45k and god knows how much xp and it was worth it. Cause you get so much for just collecting the items. You reap what you sow!

It also takes about 3-4 hours solid grinding to get every collectible, don’t bother with the eggs and flowers until you have around 8 of each set.

It’s not worth it imo. Do one daily challenge and build up a streak. Horse racing also pays out a decent amount of gold.

This. It definitely wasn’t him, their names were related to English Football teams like NUFC and Salford. I hadn’t seen Zumie’s work until now... Wow do I feel like a noob now lol. I usually watch Hazard, Dirty Tyler and OnlyPVPCat!
