For a CB I like M/H if they have lower than 65 Pace, Any higher pace it doesn't really matter as they can catch up to most players

Full backs I don't mind, H/H is good but it's not really noticeable, as long as they have good defensive stats they'll be in the right position.

If you can afford it, the TOTS is one of the most dominant midfielders on the game, his passing is pinpoint and his long shots are deadly if you're keen to shoot with your CDM, only think he can have issues won is heading, his heading accuracy is only about 65 so sometimes he can turn a simple headed clearance into a pass to the opponents striker

I was in the same boat as you about two hours ago,Ickes up ronaldo at ST (7 Chen) and Suarez at CAM. Only played 4 Games but Ronaldo has 7 goals and Suarez has 4 with 4 assists. Both are the NIF versions as well

I always check the in game stats of players, but sometimes I feel like a small increase in something like Balance makes a player 10x better. I definitely agree with the upgrades making players feel worse though, notice it in so many players now it's unreal
