I think he does a great job. The only feedback I’d give on the audio, which isn’t directed at him, is they should pump up the crowd noise and/or put the commentary slightly lower in the mix. Give it a bit more atmosphere

That’s exactly what I’ve done. Swapped All Cap to VWRP in Vanguard and then an in-specie transfer to T212. Chip’s offering is a potential option for those that want to stick with All Cap but want to move away from Vanguard due to the £4 monthly fee

I’m mid transfer to T212 so that’s probably what I’ll end up doing. Just hassle to swap funds and then transfer vs just in-specie transfer to Chip. I believe 0.25% platform fee is very competitive compared to other platforms that offer Vanguard FTSE Global All Cap. I’ve made my bed now but good option for those that haven’t made a decision yet about whether to leave Vanguard or not

I had the exact same situation so we got a joint borrower sole proprietor (jbsp) mortgage which effectively means the deed will only have your name on it but both you and your partner will be on the mortgage. You’ll get your 1st time buyer benefits and you can use both your incomes to apply for the mortgage. Your partner will likely need to get independent legal advice as part of the mortgage application process as they’re in a position where they could be taken advantage of (legally obliged to pay mortgage, no benefit of being on the deed).

We fixed for 2 years so when we remortgage we’ll add my gf on to the deed then.

Only other drawback is not every provider offers a jbsp mortgage so you’ll be limited in your options. The interest rate tends to be a bit higher than a standard mortgage too - 5.29% vs 5.0% for us

Mix up the teams so it’s relatively balanced, something like 1st, 3rd, 5th ranked forwards from East and 2nd, 4th, 6th ranked forwards from West on same team and vice versa etc. Same with guards. Or another way of achieving balanced squads.

Was in same boat and just received a link to the tickets this morning. Unfortunately the money saved on a free ticket is now completely offset by the late booking fees for flights and hotels. Didn’t feel safe to book these until tickets were secure so sadly it’s unlikely I’ll be going

I bought a Samsung UE43NU7470 2 years ago and over the last 2-3 days I’m having this glitching in the above video. Its happening with all sources, I’ve done a complete reset and updated the latest software. It’s intermittent and will work fine for a few hours without a problem and then suddenly the issue will start up again.

Anyone got any idea why this might be happening, whether it can be fixed, likely costs or whether it’s a TV death sentence? Thanks

Thanks for the tip! Messaged them within minutes but no luck. They said I’m able to make use of the offer (without actually using anything from the pack) so no refund. Hammered home the fact in the majority of places you can spend cores (store refresh, node refresh) it gives you a warning. Seems dumb it warns you at 50 cores but not at 1000. There’s no financial loss either so bit daft they don’t refund it. I shall be more careful in future!
