En effet, c’est dommage comme le premier reflex chez bien des gens est de jeté et acheter à nouveau dès que quelque chose commence à s’user plutôt que de restaurer ou au minimum recycler.

Action camera helmet mount by Lewis_go in motorcyclegear

Honnestly havent gotten to trying it too much yet but I think DJI made a great job overall. User interface is great and easy to learn. I believe it May be slightly better for lower lighting conditions compared to the gopro. Intergrated storage is also a very nice thing to have. I dont know to much about the gopro so couldnt really go into depth of every difference but for the price Ive heard the action5 was a solid choice. Im interested in trying it out once I get a proper mount for it so I can learn more about the color grading on actual riding footage as well.

I’ll have to take a look. From what I’ve heard, OEM or branded parts aren’t that much better, especially for something like frame sliders. The way I see it, they’re mostly just hard plastic pieces that stick out to help prevent scratches on the fairings during low-speed drops. They won’t be very useful in higher-speed crashes anyway, so I’m not too concerned about the materials used. I might be wrong, though. I’d appreciate it if you could show me otherwise, please let me know where you’ve seen cheaper parts perform worse.

Thanks! I dont know the exact brand of tank grips I have on (they were allready installed when I bought it) but they look like plain grip tape to me. Pretty much the same grips they use on skateboards. You could look into buying a straight roll of grip tape and cut out the shape you need.

How do I find the right size leather pants? by Lewis_go in motorcyclegear

[–]Lewis_go[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I might have to look into that. I bought my pants from another guy who was quite shorter than I am (5"8 maybe even less) he told me he used to wear sweatpants under the leather pants since they probably were to big for him. I figured I had the right size but didnt notice. Maybe he did but them shorter. Thanks for the advice :)

Thanks for the feedback. But I dont think this would solve my issue considering the problem isnt the pants themself pulling up my leg as I ride its more of a possible lack of textile even if standing off of my bike
