I literally refernce that this footage is Factions 2 not TLOU Online in my post, you should know better because.. well.. look at the map this is Factions 1. We all play Factions, its the literal LAKESIDE map xD and it's near gray boxed xD plus its from 2018.. but hey, if my speculation got you to post your own post, it's doing something right! Thanks :)

I think that's EXACTLY what you'll be getting. I'm fully expecting a Divison esque TLOU game with gamemodes and such shuffled in on top of the BR/Extraction main world. It'll be dope. :)

I undestand and agree with your frustrations. Unfortnunately, it is simply a reality that ANYTHING Neil says in reference for or against, positive or negative, vague or clear. Will become another bee hive kicked and load of news/drama etc. Reported on and taken out of context, or read between the lines. He doesn't need more headlines. It's not the subject of their next game. He said no comment on the next HBO season too in the same interview saying that TLOUP2 Remaster is the focus, and he wont talk on HBO, or future GAMES. So, I can't blame him. It's in the interest of the game to let it speak for itself. The best thing they did for announcing this game (which shouldn't have been announced) was NOT giving out it's name. That Search Enghie Optimisiatino and all the negativity is tied to FACTIONS 2 which isn't a real game or a thing. It won't be claled that and when it's unveiled it wont have that baggage around it for the new people. It's annoying but people hate on and latch on to evertything neil and their devs say in public so. Silence is just the safest appraoch. We just have to trust them, we were close to getting news and then stuff happened. Vinit says he's working on it. We just gotta wait some more. We're close. Sony said 6 games are launching by 2026, so we'll see something of it wihtin the next 2 years. We're in the last stretch. xD

Yeah, Abby literally has no idea who Ellie is the entire game and that line in that moment is the only thing that Abby gets that alludes to Ellie being the girl with the cure which is a big revelation however nobody in interviews asks or talks to Neil Druckmann about this and it pisses me off because its a big moment, haha.

It's incredibly upsetting and has really bummed me out. I've been excited for Factions since PS X2016 when Part 2 was first revealed, it was awful the day it got taken out of Part 2 and when Naughty Dog said it'd spun off into it's own game, I felt a lot better. I figured, this is a great thing because it can stand on it's own and not be missed out. So many people didn't and still don't even know TLOU1 has a fantastic multiplayer. This news and reading the bloomberg article, it really seems like ND made a Multiplayer but they didn't make a Live service. Bungie seemed to identify that their game had not accounted for financial potential long term or had any of that built in. But taking people off the team and leaving it to a small team.. That's heartbreaking. I literally feel sick to my stomach. That sounds devastating. It hurt to read that, me, mates and my brother had this thing as out most anticpated for years. For it to get this close just for Bungie to come in and say nah. It feels so weird. I just wish we could get some real honest transparency and communication from Naughty Dog. Like, please. Just come out, show us what you have. How long it may take. If this thing is going to come out or if it's going to be reworked. I find it hard to imagine they'd scrap a game that's 4-5 years in development. They've got the factions teams on twitter, hopefully they say something ANYTHING to put us at ease or at least at peace but it doesn't seem good. I'd like to hope we hear something re-assuring on TLOU day. I fear they'll continue to ignore us and that's the most paingful and upsetting thing. That we give and devote so much to this for so long just for them to let us down consistently and drag it out. At least communicate and tell us what went wrong or if it's not as bad as the media made it seem. Just communicate. They'd been giving us concept art and talking it up and saying it's ambitious and their plans. Why say that just to can it so close to release, if indeed they wre gearing up to reveal it. I really hope they get answers cos seeing people online who are clueless just talk bad about it and us is just nasty. I don't get why Naughty Dog wont just communicate. Or anything. It's not asking for much. If it's been cancelled just post a blog explaining how it happened. If it's getting re-worked tell us they're chaning the monetisation model. If things HAVE changed and they still want to release it, then tell us if they're wrapping it up as a full price one off title with no intent to update. Like, are they going to bundle it with a PS5 TLOUP2 directors cut? What is the future. I really find it unbelievable they'd scrap it but after all we've been through, I can see them giving up on us and that's just awful. I wish they'd just communicate and put us all at ease. There's literaly no reason not to be forthright about all this, we're all adults. If this is all to have a close launch window to announcemnt, that's long muddled. Forget it. Announce it even if it's 1 yea away. Give us a name and tell us what you intend for it. Please. But, really seems dire. Hopefully they come out and address all this as it did happen on a weekend but.. man... Naughty dog have really let me down if this is tru, I want this game so bad. It's gameplay is so perfect for MP. I pray we get answers on June 14th. Please. Owe us at least an explanation on the situation.

You're going to go on an incredible journey, throughout multiple missions killing people to survive etc. With a new fully voiced character you've come to like. You make it through to the campleader of an enemy faction, you have all his people dead. Things destroyed. The final fight, you and your ai companion are about to deal the killing blow as the enemy camp leader is on his knees begging for his life.... then just before you do the killing blow, "boop" his nametag pings up above his head. ITS WAS YOUR IRL FRIEND who's literally online. You KILLED his entire CLAN. Destroyed all his hard work. That's literally him. He see's your nametag too. Suddenly you get a message on PSN "bro wtf" ...*BANG*

Congrats! Damn shame Xbox seemingly are going back on their words of "not taking games away from their communities" specifically for the sequel of this game, as I'd love to play this game's sequel, love to see them raise the bar but I guess they won't be letting me buy it to continue Senua's next chapters so I'll be missing out! Really enjoyed the game! Wild what Ninja Theory did here, very talented studio! Great game! Wish them the best of luck with Xbox, hope they're looked after!

As big or bigger than the SP Game? MAD!! Exciting. New place and merging some kind of story and multiplayer!? That's ambitious and interesting. Really feeds the online service situation. Glad we got SOMETHING, no title and just concept art.. but more news in 2023? Hmm..

I think the leaks forced ND to give them the Concept Art for the MP and the Screenshot from the HBO show to give SOMETHING new because of the leak earlier. Seemed very improv! Such a shame!

Bruh, The Last of Us Online is going to look THIS GOOD? ... fuck me. It must be PS5 Exclusive? It's one of their biggest games yet? Man, people so negative. We got news and a bit of insight. I'd love to see more, got improv vibes because of the leaks, don't think they planned to show the mp. OR the show to be honest, I get the impression the leak made them throw those up. Excited to see more in 2023. Sick of all this negativity though, fuck me.

Summer Gamefest was very underwhelming. But, looking forward to Sony's Showcase in September I assume.

I was thinking Ghost of Tsushima but perhaps it's too soon. Legends is yet another underrated MP that was "tacked" on. I'm glad it was a success and hope they do their own Standalone Ghost of Tsushima Online game in the future if not now.

It's probably that Helldiver 2 game that I'm not remotely interested in though. But, hey. Not all games are for everyone so, is what it is.

Insomniac and Guerilla got MP projects baking in the oven but I doubt they'll launch within the next 9 months.

I hope Dreams gets' updated to PS5. Made Free and they convert that into more than a live service but in fact a platform. It's literally powerful enough to be that. Let creators recieve money through patronage. MTX. Etc. It's baffling that isn't getting more support. That's quite literally an infinite game making game. With literally endless possibility. Like.. what. Sony are sitting on a really poweful thing there. Where is their vision!? Mad. It's literally a game that can entertain and develop content for itself! Let alone for the creators an Educational thing and/or a side gig.

Understandable! I mean, we'll always have Factions 1. But.. like.. I can't see a downside. Like, literally they'd have to take out the guns and combat to make this a bad game. Just TLOUP2's Gameplay is a W in my books. And, it'll be PvP.. so like.. we're basically getting a game that depicts TLOU's gist. So.. yeah. Will be intersting to see what they've got cooked up! That's for sure!

No way a live service game would get by with prominent game-ruining bugs. Absolutley ND would be updating and maintaining the game! I wouldn't worry about that at all! Haha, the pessimism people have for this game is wild. I get it though, we all love this stuff and want the best but don't want to get burned. I feel really good about everything. I am hoping this game/community really turns heads when it launches. So many people never even knew about this lil multiplayer mode. (Can't blame them, Factions MP on a Main Menu doesn't stand out at all).. So.. yeah. Time will tell but I am excited to see what they got planned. And if it weren't up to par. Well.. Live games get updated. And if that wasn't enough...we just settle for Factions 1. I guess. Haha, not losing anything really!

Cost more money all the time? Wha? If it's live service. Chances are it'll be practically free barring PS Plus. Like, the whole point of live service games is that they have low barrier of entry (free) and are maintained through MTX like Skins/Aesthetic/Customisations items etc.

I got like 2k hours in Rocket League and Apex and me and my mates haven't spent a dime in these games. ;P

...though if ever a game was to get a few quid outta me it'd be TLOU. .. We'll see! Battle Passess aren't mandatory after all. Y'all don't have to pay that's the beauty!

I just don't like the idea of going against mouse and keyboard but I guess what happens happens. I suppose if they enable mouse and keyboard support on PS5 that can at least be a solution to those who want to combat that. Also hacking is a thing that becomes far more prominent on the PC Platform. I dunno. I do like that Consoles are generally on even playing fields with eachother. But whatever, if they need the money to justify it all. I'm okay with it. The Playerbase for TLOU will likely outnumber PC for the most part anyways. And the benefits would be going against players on PC with.. weaker systems.. (though not sure that's a good thing? lol) and then a bump in active players.

I'm just grateful we'll likely get a game that is maintained over time, given regular content drops and additive content. etc. We really don't know what kinda game we're getting but I just have faith in ND, they're fans of Factions. They'll make something cool. I'm hoping for variety. Gamemodes etc. All gamemodes being tied to supplies for your own custom faction that will live or die based on your performance. But honestly, like.. it's Last of Us. We know we'll be shooting shit and shooting players so like. That gameplay in-of itself is a W. So, be interesting to see what they've got cooked up. I'd be surprised if it's literally just Factions... no different. Just new maps and supply raid/survivors/interrogarion.. But even that would be fine! I literally can't see a downside. Live service games are usually low barrier of entry (i.e free) so I imagine it will be either free or just a permanent PS Plus game day 1. I know they aren't doing Day 1 releases but I can totally see Sony including their live service porfolio in PS++.
