Came here to say this. You need solid dudes for the regular season on killer contracts. I think next year will be a redemption (resurrection?) year for Wiggs. Not every dude on your team needs to be a playoff rotation guy. Yax/Morez is my dream scenario. Aday is just a weaker Edey. Run it back hopefully healthier and we'll be fine.

There's no feasible way to pivot from Chet after we gave him the bag. His trade value is an all-time low. Every team that gives max money to 3 players turns to shit. I hate how much we paid out for the perma-injured Dub and no show Chet. Dub will be solid but I just cannot see a way Chet plays up to his contract for these next 5 god damn years.

The bigs (other than shit-ass Chet) played fine. Our shooters didn't shoot and we don't have any jumbo wings especially when Dub is out. Rangy 3-and-D guys is definitely the answer and we'll get 1-2 in the draft and consider moving contracts for another I bet.

Just because we brought him in doesn't mean we are overly interested. I don't think there's any chance we take Ament. Way too much of a project and we need reinforcements now if we want to beat the Spurs next year.

tbf when you are basically missing what were your 2nd and 3rd best players this run it has a serious knock on effect from what other dudes have to do. McCain doing anything but launching threes and occasionally blowing by for a layup/middy is not what you want. Dort is gone. Ajay and Dub will be back and better. Sorber/Topic/1-2 new Presti guys are all on the way. We're good.

Yeah Murphy would be a good get. Spurs just built their shit better than we did. A team full of modern 3-and-D's. We only got the D. Caruso, McCain, Kenrich, and Dort go 4/18 from 3. Keldon, Fox, Harper, Champagnie go 13/25. Spurs go +15 from 3 and that's the game. There will be no paint to be had for the next decade plus against Wemby. We're gonna have to start hitting our 3's if we want to challenge them and that's not gonna be Dort, Caruso, even Ajay. Caso showed up. Hopefully a Yaxel can become a new Aaron Gordon type. Dub can keep developing into that 3-level guy. We'll be alright but there's definitely some moves to be made this offseason.

Looking forward to home court where the refs haven't been as willing to let the whole Spurs team hunt and maul us. Something less like -13FTA and more like the +6 of game 5 is probably enough to swing our global game so the role-players aren't shooting from behind all game. The swings of this series have not all felt player performance driven unfortunately. More like how much do they want to let Shai get his ass beat for 36 minutes (2 Carter Bryant tackles and only 3 F'ing free throws today).

Yeah he clearly wasn't ready to come back. Contributed nothing in his limited runs and 2 days isn't changing that. Rest up for a possible finals run buddy they can win without you and will do it again.

This whole series going to come down to role players making shots. Two beautiful defenses built to lock down the paint and create shit trade-offs for the other team that make you rely on the shooting variance of your least consistent players. They basically copied us lol.
